A nonprofit drafted a plan to prosecute backers of Donald Trump under Arizona law nearly a year before the state’s Democrat attorney general secured 18 indictments related to Trump’s 2020 campaign. One of the nonprofit’s founders is a former Obama White House staffer who authored books targeting Trump. The organization, the States United Democracy Center, provided a 47-page memo to Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes on July 25, 2023. The memo outlined the potential criminal case against Trump associates and made repeated references to “Trump himself” as part of what it called a criminal “false electors scheme.” Mayes recently said...

Multiple women have said they are boycotting Thanksgiving with their families in the aftermath of Donald Trump's election victory.(snip) Boycotting Thanksgiving with family members who voted for Trump is another way some women are protesting the election results, with many posting about it online.(snip) In one viral TikTok video, Anna Gantt, a 26-year-old mother, told how she and her fiancé had decided not to spend Thanksgiving with her family members who voted for Trump. She said: "This is already the most sad holiday season I think I will ever experience - solely for the fact that I have made the...

A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) contractor allegedly told an elderly disabled veteran homeowner last month that in order to receive assistance, he would need to remove his Trump signs from his yard, because the agency considers Trump supporters to be “domestic terrorists.” House and Accountability Committee Chairman James Comer asserted on Tuesday that a whistleblower told his staff that the encounter between the FEMA contractor and the disabled veteran’s family happened in October following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. “My staff just made contact with a new whistleblower who provided a credible account that a FEMA contractor visited the home...

An 82-year-old Edmonds woman was arrested Monday for a hate crime after assaulting two trump supporters, according to the Edmonds Police Department. She has not been charged, but a judge found probable cause for a hate crime offense and two counts of fourth-degree assault Tuesday. On Wednesday, a newly released police body camera video shows the suspect explaining to responding officers what happened. The 82-year-old told police, “I approached her, and I said I want to know why you're voting for Trump. That's the only thing. And. And I said because you're brown-skinned." In the past couple of years I have noticed there is a complete lake of regard for other posters on this site. Not only that but swearing seems to be tolerated. In the past day I have been called gay, a lair, that I am talking out of my *** and I am full of ****. Do we even have to go into the fighting on any thread about Ukraine or Russia. Even hard facts from multiple sources no longer seem to matter. Instead it is whoever can come up with the snarkiest reply.

Nikki Haley doubles DeSantis' support. Donald Trump leads him by 57 points. Gov. Ron DeSantis arguably had his best performance in a national debate this week, with a widely viewed showdown with California’s Gavin Newsom the week before. But new polling suggests it might not matter. In the latest Emerson College poll, the Florida Governor has fallen to 7%, his worst showing in any national survey in the 2024 cycle. Adding insult to injury, DeSantis is actually at 6.7%, benefiting from rounding to even hit the modest 7% threshold. DeSantis trails Nikki Haley, who has double his support at 14%....

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton said Monday on CNN’s “News Central” that he believed if former President Donald Trump was convicted of a crime, MAGA supporters would move to another candidate. When asked if another Republican could win the primary, Bolton said, “Yes, I do, and I think it’s difficult but I think this could all turn, both for the primary, but particularly for the general election, on whether any of the four pending criminal indictments actually come to trial and get a jury verdict before the election.” He continued, “I think if a jury convicts Trump, I think...

On Wednesday, appearing on the LindellTV with Emerald Robinson, former Trump National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, advocated for ending U.S. military aid to Ukraine to protect them from the Russian invasion. "Let me give you my judgment on where we are right now," said Flynn. "I think that anybody that anyone that continues to put fuel on a blazing fire, meaning more weapons, more ammunition, more of the sort of warfare-type stuff that's thrown into this fire is going to keep this fire blazing for a long, long time. And I think that doesn't benefit anybody."

Former Republican presidential nominee Bob Dole told USA Today he was "still a Trumper" as he approaches his 98th birthday on Thursday. A former longtime senator from Kansas, Dole was one of the few GOP elder statesmen to support former President Donald Trump in 2016, and the only former presidential nominee to attend that year's convention. "I'm a Trumper," Dole, who’s suffering from lung cancer, told USA Today.

Steve Schmidt, cofounder of the disgraced, anti-Trump Lincoln Project, said the January 6 Capitol protests are “likely to kill a lot more Americans than were killed on the 9/11 attacks,” which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Americans on U.S. soil. Speaking at the Lincoln Project’s virtual July 7 town hall discussing what the far-left PAC is doing to “defend democracy in 2022,” Schmidt echoed the sentiments of his “friend,” MSNBC political analyst Matthew Dowd, suggesting the January 6 Capitol protest will be worse in terms of casualties than 9/11.

Michael Cohen, U.S. President Donald Trump's former personal lawyer, said on Thursday he paid a firm to manipulate online polling data "at the direction of and for the sole benefit of" Trump. The Wall Street Journal reported that Cohen had paid the data firm RedFinch Solutions to manipulate two public opinion polls in favor of Trump before the 2016 presidential campaign. "As for the @WSJ article on poll rigging," Cohen wrote on Twitter on Thursday, "what I did was at the direction of and for the sole benefit of @realDonaldTrump @POTUS. I truly regret my blind loyalty to a man...

Once again Donald Trump is frazzling the custodians of civil discourse....... But dismissing JFK’s assassination as a trivial subject is one mistake that Donald Trump does not make. His gambit is an old story in American culture. With his intuitive media personality, Trump is drawn, moth-like, to an eternal flame of American culture: the JFK story......... The issue facing the next president–and those who will vote for him or her– is not “Who killed JFK?” The issue in 2016 is “Who will kill JFK secrecy?” The Law::::::Within a year of taking the oath of office President Trump (or President Clinton)...

Trump strategist Roger Stone tells NJ 101.5 radio that even if Donald Trump wins a majority of pledged delegates to the Republican convention, Cruz will utilize "Trojan horse" delegates (who are bound to vote for Trump only on the first RNC nomination ballot) to vote on "procedural" matters in the Rules Committee or Credentials committee to block or disallow certain votes. ROGER STONE: Unfortunately just because Donald Trump gets the 1,237 [delegates needed to win], doesn't mean we aren't going to have a brokered convention. My sources, who are pretty good in the Republican Party, indicate to me that Ted...

Donald Trump had it right on Vladimir Putin and ISIS; Chris Christie didn't have a clue By Paul Mulshine | The Star Ledger on November 17, 2015 at 7:46 AM, updated November 17, 2015 at 10:28 AM Chris Christie reacted to those terror attacks in Paris on Friday by trying to turn them to his political advantage at a campaign event in Florida on Saturday. "The world is desperate for a strong, secure, smart and tested American president," Christie said. "The hour is too late for people to be trained. We need a president who is ready to serve." We...

Chances are Donald Trump has mastered the art of “under-promise, over-deliver.” The man best known for his confidence, even arrogance, has a surprisingly humble attitude toward his own debate skills. The pressure not to make a critical mistake was already great enough on the top candidates participating in next week’s Republican presidential debate, but it has increased exponentially with the emergence of the outspoken business magnate as the GOP front-runner. The other candidates have their hands full developing a “Trump strategy” to counter what the leading contender may do — a task made all the more difficult when Trump himself...

Is "The Donald" in for the long hall, or is he going to "Pull Out" at the last minute -- like he has done so many times before? http://www.theguardian.com/world/2011/may/16/donald-trump-us-presidential-race I don't think he has demonstrated that he is in for the long haul. Therefore I have taken the liberty to give him the handle of Trumpus Interruptus! I confess that I was excited (as was his collective base) when he announced in 2012 that he was considering a run for the republican nomination for President of the United States. I was thus willing to overlook the fact that he was...
