I didn’t know about the rice scare. I get basmati rice either Lundberg eco-farmed, or Costco from India.
I don’t see this holding up. Will probably go to SCOTUS.
With a different makeup of SCOTUS, maybe it’s time to revisit Arizona v. United States.
We always buy in bulk (25# bags of flour, rice, legumes, etc) but now we’re REALLY buying in bulk. I remember reading that years ago in Zimbabwe inflation was so insane that people would get paid twice a day and at noon they’d run out to buy whatever they could in stores because by evening prices would be up.
