check out Crisco...the large large size like they sell at Costco?....$19.00 IIRC.....

but buy a couple because it should last for a long time....

going to get sugar tomorrow.....

my husband is silently exasperated with our supplies because we are running out of room...

I don’t use crisco... but I do can ghee which lasts a long time if kept cool and dark. and a freezer with many pounds of butter. Lots of rice, white flour, whole wheat flour, and beans of all kinds. Getting the garden planted. Can’t do much else..hope the wild blackberries are plentiful this year.
