Guess who's hosting this edition of the singles thread!?! Scary, ain't it folks.
Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)

wow your hubby died young.. cancer, heart, accident (If I am not being too nosy & you don't mind sharing). Your parents had a long marriage for sure.. but we are never ready to let our parents go.. My dad has been gone since 1990 & I still miss him. He developed my love of the outdoors & was a constant supporter of me growing up in my academic & dancing endeavors..

Sorry to hear about your husband. That must have been quite a blow to you, I'm sure.

A friend sent me this little book that MercyMe put out with the cd of just "I Can Only Imagine" in it. The book tells their story of how and why they wrote the song and stories of people whose lives were touched and even changed by it. You would love that book. I do. It has meant a lot to me.

I"m not as busy as most FReepers with things. I probably shouldn't be so anxious. I should probably be more understanding...
Nahh....

Thanks for the link. I checked it out. Real nice. Jars of Clay is on there. They are still making albums.

Oh my! You had a terrible day. I don't blame you for being upset. Is this job something you can't leave for one reason or another? This is abuse.
Thanks for sharing. Sometimes these forums for me (I have a few threads where it happens) to let loose with issues/problems.
showing my ignorance.. what is CM?

My husband, who was five years older than I, died of complications from Multiple Myeloma. That is cancer of the plasma cells of the bone marrow. He fought a good fight and went through two peripheral blood stem cell transplants. He was one month shy of his 57th birthday when he died April 22, 2001.
