Guess who's hosting this edition of the singles thread!?! Scary, ain't it folks.
Anyhow, in the process of cleaning out boxes, it came to me....the questions that we all ask ourselves as we uncover chunks of our long lost past.....
What WAS I thinking!?!
So, my questions to all of you are:
What hobby or interest did you have when you were younger that you still have a passion for?
Ok, now....is there something you used to do that you now think "I can't believe I used to like that!"
Same with music---
What was your favorite band/song in highschool, then early adulthood compared to now? (Those still in early adulthood have only 2 questions to answer. Or maybe just one ;))
Is there anything in your interests, hobbies or life that would surprise people who know you? (Nothing weird, just.....) And if it invovles being on wanted posters, you can skip the question :)

Margaritas used to be one of my favorite drinks. Then, a few times, I had way too many and I found out the old saying was true..."Margaritas are not Senoritas".
What's a cosmos? Anything like a Kamikazi?

I am not really in the partying mood tonight.
First, I am tired. will probably go to bed soon.
Secondly, I guess the"honeymoon period" of this job is over. Today the boss REALLY rubbed me the wrong way, several times.
It started when my sinuses started acting up a bit, and I coughed a couple of times, when he was speaking spanish gibberish over the phone, to a customer.
His carping about me not being able to control my coughing and such, put my nerves on edge, and so they soon flared up too, and I coughed even more, as we loaded a big screen tv set.
This opened up the whole "Pandora's box" about the subject. I was totally open when I started there, about my nerve problem, and the coughing it sometimes produces. but somehow, it went over his head. what followed was a dialogue between him and me about the matter, with me reminding him that this is why I can't do a "road tech job" and such, to him saying he didn't see why I can't just suppress it and so on. But this time the nerves had subsided and the anger and hurt in me was taking over.
A bit later, I want to a customers house with him. My sinuses and nerves were fine. We were checking out a tv set, where the Picture tube was weak, and I had "boosted it" about a month ago. Now, it is totally bad. I let him know this, after checking out the set. The customer heard me. BUT, It seems that he had told the customer that we put a NEW tube in last month, and it had failed, ans now, since his service contract was expired, he was SOOL. But then, he decided to "make it right"out of fear of a complaint to CC about the matter, which would expose the lie) and we took the set in to REALLY replace the tube. Well, he got mad at ME for saying that the tube was bad.. How was I supposed to know he had lied to the customer before, I was just being honest. By now, I felt, and SAID, "I should had stayed home today". He then tried to smooth things over but a bit later, got into a rant about how I should "try to be more hip, , go with the flow more, and change with the times". I repeatedly told him not to worry about what I do away from work, as long as I do my job, but he continued, with the "I'm just trying to help you" shit. THIS, COMING FROM A KERRY SUPPORTER, WHO IS GOING TO SEE SPRINGER TAKE ON HANNITY TOMORROW NIGHT!!
Then I get home........ and I see that one of the sharks here, has followed me over to CM, where my screenname is NOT the same, and "kept tabs" on what I was dong there, and then, came back here, and criticized me for bad grammar, OVER SOMETHING I SPOKE ABOUT ON CM!!!!!!
SO, needeless to say, I am not a happy camper right now.....In fact, I would like to kick someone in the nuts!!!

Not going to spoil the thread with something like that. Aww, come on, I'm intrigued. How about first, how old? Any kids?
To: najida
Excellent! We were quite disappointed we didn't get sent AT ALL last week. Apparently we weren't up to our usual standards.

It's now known as Yangon, and it is in Burma.
Man, those cities and countries in Asia change their names more often than I change my underwear. B-) Well, I did have a Burmese cat, very beautiful cats:
Muffin: b. 8-21-1987 - d. 7-09-2004
I still have a cat from 1987, she will be 19 in August:
Pansy: b. 8-19-1987
Unfortunatly, she has the same birthdate (8-19) as Bill Clinton and Tipper Gore but that's also the birthdate of my grandfather on Dad's side so I think things cancel out. B-)

I got drunk on Manhattan's one time. I was in the Air Force and some sweet young lady broke my heart. I was working 4-12 and had a few in the afternoon before I went to work.
Well, I started feeling pretty high by the time I got to work. Turns out it was a Friday and they had some wine and beer at the shop. They were having a party for some reason, but I forget what the reason was. I had a glass of wine and got to work in the computer room.
I got very drunk in about half an hour. Those Manhattan's really hit me hard. I threw up all over the place. I passed out.
My buddy cleaned up for me and ran my shift for me. He worked daylight and was still there.
No one said a word to me about it. They had alcohol at the shop themselves, the Colonel too, and that was against the rules.
Dodged a bullet. Dodged many bullets in the Air Force.
