I don't believe I have ever encountered this poem, and my memory for such is good.
However, it does have the flavor of Kipling. I would suggest searching his works in some manner, perhaps keying on the word coward, which he rarely used.

I am NOT giving any shopping advice to anyone, following my advice will get you banned from stores, thrown out, or a one way ticket to the funny farm.
(Though I am told that I looked smashing in my hunter green shirt and turtleneck, military boots, and hairy legs sticky out from the hem of a blue pleated miniskirt. LONG, WEIRD story.. which got me banned from a store.)
