Many FReepers have knowledge to share about improving and maintaining health and would like to share it and learn from others; and others may not know much yet but want to learn. Some of us don't have much money for good insurance or doctors, some want to try other methods besides prescription meds, and some have experience in treating and solving health problems.
More and more "regular" doctors have accepted treatment methods such as the benefits of acupuncture, massage for many conditions, better diet, use of herbs and so on. There are limits, and often side effects, to some standard medical efforts.
My field is Ayurvedic herbalism and related measures, and have a lot of information I can post when I have time. I have seen herbs and sometimes dietary changes help people (including myself) with issues such as rheumatoid arthritis, high BP, gallstones, kidneystones, repeated boils, UTIs, prostate problems, insomnia, allergies, urinary incontinence, and many more. I hope to learn a lot from others with their knowledge and experience.
There are many "old fashioned" home care methods that were in common use a few generations ago that actually work and are cheap, such as castor oil packs, fomentations using alternating hot and cold water, and the like, which are easy to do. I am sure there is a lot of knowledge here on Free Republic that can be shared.
I would like this thread to stay civil without distruption, so my request is that people who think natural health methods are bunkum, make your own thread.
Reading your comment just gave me chills. So He gave me some more time on earth. Reminds me of a quote I read: “My dear Lord, You have placed me here. Now, what do You want me to do?”
I hope you and MileHi are doing well.
I just copied your post to a friend who is battling stage four cancer. Her cancer started as breast cancer and has spread to her bones. She is open to natural healing so I think she will try many of the herbs that worked for you.
I would go straight for the Ivermectin, and herbs as she wants to. There is a story about a former Marine, stage 4, sent home to die, used Ivermectin and cancer was gone in a month. Let me find and I’ll post. Might even be on this thread, I am terminally disorganized.
Hub emailed it to me so I’ll get it from him unless I find sooner. I’ll try to get it to you asap, today.
Found it!

Former Marine Put on Hospice Care After 3 Years of Unsuccessful Chemo Beats His Stage 4 Colon Cancer in a Few Months Using Inexpensive Repurposed Drug
Poisoned by chemotherapy, surgically mutilated, and reduced to using colostomy bags, a former marine was needlessly medically tortured for over three years.
On the verge of death by iatrogenesis, and with absolutely nothing left to lose, he was tipped off about a veterinary dewormer drug aka horse paste aka the drug that the establishment badly maligned in order to push through their slow kill bioweapon “vaccines…”
I started doing it 9/2/2021.
Six weeks in, keeping in mind I wasn’t supposed to make it, what does that scan say? Fifty percent less disease.
Eight more weeks, I have another scan. No evidence of disease.
LOTS more info at the link about Ivermectin and cancer.
THANK YOU!
I just copied all of this and texted it to my friend.
And there are many sources for Ivermectin, lots on this thread.
Little J, what do you think about the herb” mullein” for lung support and detoxing lungs?
I know you and others are continuing to feel the effects of the virus and trying to find herbs or vitamins that help.
One more question. Wondering if the” breathing exercisers” help for better inhalation and exhalation in people that have respiratory difficulties. There is a little hand held device on A that is kind of pricey but would try if it would help DH . There are also the old fashioned kind with the little floating balls in the cylinders.
Thank you for any information Natural Health posters!
Very grateful for this special thread LJ☺
Mullein is an herb I have never used. Not long ago I think posted some info about it, you can scroll up a bit. One herb I have used successfully for lungs is coltsfoot, made a strong tea and helped clear lungs and stop a vicious cough. The breathing excercises help me, I did them last night. I am not familiar with the device.
Somewhere on the thread early is more info about lungs, including steam inhalations and essential oils, that help a lot. For me, dry air is bothersome and my lungs do better with humidity. In the winter when the woodstove dries out the air I use a humidifier, and in the summer which is very hot and dry we have a large “swamp cooler” which adds moisture to the air. Some lungs may prefer dry but not mind.
Another thing that helps me is not using any products with artificial fragrances, petroleum products bother me. All fragrances other than natural essential oils are made with petroleum by products or coal tar, and also formulated with formaldehyde to make them long lasting. Air fresheners, etc. I use detergents with no fragrance and so on. That might help his breathing.
People coming over - eek - have to clean house a bit.
Thank you for this post about your Cancer. God bless you. 🙌
Thank you. He gave me some more time. I try to use it well...

Coltsfoot is an expectorant and lung tonic. Its Latin name means “cough dispeller”. It has been used for a wide vareity respiratory complaints with great success [including yours truly several decades ago]. It has proven useful in the treatment of conditions kuje common cough, whooping cough, bronchitis, and even emphysema. It helps to dilate the bronchials and dispels phlegm, and can be used with other herbs.
For respiratory conditions characterized by yellowish or green sputum and sore throat, it combines well with mullein, horehoud, licorice and echinacea.
Coltsfoot helps to make a cough productive and relieves wheezy type of asthma as well as the type of asthma with profuse bronchial congestion. To strengthen the lungs it combines well with comfrey, elecampane and pippali.
Years ago when I had a cough that would NOT stop, I made a very strong tea of coltsfoot and in one day drank about 5 cups, hot. Next day, all better. I used loose leaves, put in a good sized pot with cold water, covered, brought to a simmer for about 1/2 hour (?) and then used it.
Thank you for that information :-)
Great info.
Thanx. A lot
