Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Ann was still on Mercer Island in 1959 and 1960 until after graduation in June of 1960.

I don't really want to use this to get into a bunch of the detail about all of these Hawaii factual discrepancies.

As to exactly what happened with respect to Stanley Ann and Mercer Island, the record is a little fuzzy and hard data is still not accessible. You would need to get into University of Chicago records to confirm Fred's thesis however I think Fred is correct.

Stanley's normal high school schedule would have been: 9th grade (Freshman) 56-57; 10th grade (Sophomore) 57-58; 11th grade (Junior) 58-59; and Senior, class of 1960, 59-60.

Seattle Public Schools records are a mess on the topic of exactly when Mercer Island High School was open to the specific classes. Initially, it was a Seattle Public school and opened its first year to sophomores and juniors, probably the 56-57 year and those kids were the first graduating class in 58.

Mercer Island later opened as its own school district and many records were transferred and preserved. Further, as to future classes, in the 56-57 school year, kids who were resident on the island were entered as Mercer Island High School students at more than one other location. Many of those students attended Franklin High School in Columbia City in 56-57 and 57-58.

The record makes it appear pretty likely that Stanley Ann was in fact physically located at the school on Mercer Island during her junior year, 58-59.

Madelyn and Stanley Armour essentially were transferred to Hawaii in the summer of 59.

Fred's thesis is that Stanley Ann was early admitted to a combined degree program at University of Chicago in the fall of 1959 where she attended at least the 59-60 year for which she received her Mercer Island diploma as a member of the class of 1960.

The combined degree programs were very common in the 50's and 60's to advance promising students ahead of grade to get them into grad schools at younger ages. Many of those students were at the University of Washington as early admits in that period.

I think based on the period of her subsequent attendance at University of Hawaii in which she got her degree (actually issued in the summer of 1967 with no record of any attendance beyond 1966) by going to class from March of 1963 to July of 1966 that she probably did much if not all of the 60-61 academic year at University of Chicago.

The only real suggestion that she was ever at U of Hawaii at any time prior to 63 is a letter. The University has never released any transcript of an academic engagement in that period and we think the letter, like much of the rest of Barry's background is fraudulent.

She really first met Obama Sr. in the fall of 1962 when she and Barry and Obama Sr.'s son were living in a house in Boston owned by Barry's true father's sister who was a slumlord in Boston at the time. Stanley and Barry went there exactly as she told Susan Blake in August of 1961.
