Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

There are two posts I wanted to note to this thread from Deb Schlussel's "EXCLUSIVE: Did Next Commander-in-Chief Falsify Selective Service Registration? Never Actually Register? Obama's Draft Registration Raises Serious Questions"

1. I found this history of the Selective Service registration going on in the 1980's (http://www.history.army.mil/books/dahsum/1980/ch05.htm) and thought it was pretty coincidental the dates on Obama's alleged registration lined up with these two lines:

   "In accordance with a presidential proclamation signed on 2 July 1980, men born in 1960 were required to register during the week of 21 July 1980 and registration of males born in 1961 began on 28 July 1980."

   "On 4 September 1980, the Director of Selective Service announced that 87 percent of the eligible population had registered on time..."

   Isn't it strange that the dates of July 29, 1980 and September 4 1980 were also Obama's registration dates? Any third rate hack researcher could've also found this history, and pulled those dates out for convenience sake.

2. I appreciate all the legwork done by all the above posters, but my brain hurts right now. So, I'm gonna throw my conspiracy theory into the ring.

   We may be barking up the wrong tree. Early in the thread BobonStatenIsland proposes that the coverup may have involved more than merely a registration date. What if the coverup is a BIRTH DATE? His evidence was Barry's claim that he was 8 years old at the time of Ayers activities.

   Something went "ZING" when I read about 2/3 down the page: "Only men born between March 29, 1957, and December 31, 1959, were completely exempt from Selective Service registration."

   Could we be looking at a forgery to "produce" a country of birth origin (Hawaii) when his mother might have been somewhere else in 1959...weighed with his grandmother's statement of being present at his birth in Kenya?

   I know it's a stretch to make 2 years "disappear" from a kid's life, but it would answer why no birth certificate can be produced. It would also answer why he never filled one out--if he was born in 1959,he never HAD to, according to law. But he DID have to prove citizenship, and this may have been the most "expeditious" manner to comply with requests for "location" when the looming issue centers (but not exclusively) on "when".

   Can someone validate conclusively where mom was in 1959?

Still, the hypothesis that Obama was born in 1959 seems too much of a stretch to fit to all the 1961 era stories.

The mind boggles.

Oh ... And that the coincidence in dates mentioned in the first extracted post would have occurred by random chance is something on the order of 1 in 200 times 200. One in 40,000 or so.

Ooops ... have to make quick "improvement" to that ballpark statistic of 1 in 40,000. Registration for those born in 1961 was to be made starting 28 July 1980 (a Monday), and be completed that week. Five business days, not a years worth. One in five for that date then.

The second date is shown on the printout twice as 09/04/80, once labeled "TRANSACTION DATE" and "LAST ACTION DATE". I do not know what these dates are used for. It is possible that when "On 4 September 1980, the Director of Selective Service announced that 87 percent of the eligible population had registered on time.." that the records were all closed and recorded and those date fields entered. So that circumstance would make the chance of those dates being the same as 1 in 1.

So the ballparkian of coincidence runs 1 in 5 to 1 in 1000. IOW, I made a dust-up over nothing. Sorry all.

Ann was still on Mercer Island in 1959 and 1960 until after graduation in June of 1960. The long thread had a letter regarding the Selective Service which was posted. At the time it was mentioned that the person who signed the letter had something to do with web design. Tomorrow I will read through the long thread once again until I find the screen capture of the “letter” and info from the man who signed it.
If the problem were the year of birth then it seems even more odd to see a picture of Jr attending kindergarten in HI before he left to go to Indonesia as he would have been two years older than any of his classmates! At the same time I was wondering if the class picture for kindergarten was for the school year 1966-67 and the mother simply put 67 on the back of it. If it was the year 66-67 that would fit for Jr’s age to be 5.

Last time I read through this thread I marked down the articles which had gone poof (which explains that one damned long article above) Before that post is the actual letter of him having had registered for selective service. I remember comments about its odd wording which David had marked down as lawyer speak.

I have been wondering about the DOB also.

We had found this “supposed” article stating he was in Kindergarten in 1967.
He is also enrolled in the Bezuki School in Indonesia the same year for 1st grade.
BHO Sr was in Hawaii in 1959.
The highschool yearbooks from Mercer have gone missing (did she graduate in january or June?)

The fact that DOE has no records speaks volumes to me.
Kindergarten records would have given DOB, Place of birth, name and vaccination records reflecting his whereabouts.

This is why he joked during the primary campaign that his opponent (Hillary) was even digging into his Kindergarten records. He knows what they would contain and that is why they must be kept unavailable.
