Islamic Thinkers Society homegrown terror group? You be the judge

After looking at some of the pictures of some hezbollah rallys I noticed someone holding a sign with the name Islamic Thinkers Society so I decided to investigate on what this organization was and what it was about. This is what I have found:

First off looking at Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_Thinkers_Society "The Islamic Thinkers Society is an American extremist Islamic group that seeks the goal of restoring the Islamic Caliphate to create what they call "an ideal Islamic society." "The Islamic Thinkers Society is thought to be an American offshoot of the London-based Al-Muhajiroun, a group that celebrated the 9/11 attacks, referring to the hijackers as "the Magnificent 19,"

A man by the name of Syed "Fahad" Hashmi was arrested for aiding an al-Qaeda plot to attack targets in London. He was a member of this organization http://www.jamestown.org/terrorism/news/article.php?articleid=2370041

Interesting. ....all the Islamics in the flag desecration video look white, and their accents sound fake. College students, probably. ....and ones who desperately need their asses kicked.

The more I read about the Islamic-Fascist movements in the US now, the more I am reminded about the little discussed German American Bund movement (Deutsch-Amerikanischer Volksbund)in this country prior to WWII.

Am I mistaken here? or am I just trying to place what is happening to day in a historical context?

To my mind, the comparison is quite good although the religious element is missing. I know my late Father hated the Bund with a passion after having been taken to one picnic in Portland, OR by my Mother's Uncle. He said it was a recruiting tool for America's enemies as dangerous as the Communist Party ever was (1937/38 time frame).
