  • What's the Deal With This Blog? (Take off, you hoser).

I was reading the text of the interview between Kalb and Rather and learned that the Rather story on Bush's aborted National Guard service was thwarted by "blogs" called "Free Republic" and "Buckhead." I did find a Buckhead.org, but it just seems to be a bland Atlanta area news source, so I don't know the story in that. So I came here. And guess what? Nothing. Your story page is nothing more than boilerplate site/conservative mission comments. I really don't know why this blog is meaningful at all. I would guess the main stream media has nothing to worry about.
  • Constitutional Amendment

You guys are pretty smart so I thought I would ask you a question. Should a Constitutional Amendment be enacted to allow for the recall of a President such as Grey Davis was recalled in California? I mean when 65% of the country realizes a President is a failure, shouldn't there be a way to remove him?

How do we, as republicans, prevent the spread of bile under the guise of conservatism? I mean, how are we to educate people to our beliefs if we have those crazies among us who refuse to project themselves as intelligent articulate contributors to society? I WANT to see the Republican party grow and flourish... but how can we do that if a few uneducated extremists continue to demolish our good name??? Thoughts?

To the editor: One would think that the president of the United States holds the most stressful job ever. Isn't it wonderful that our pompous president is in such excellent condition healthwise? And why not? His eligible daughters aren't in Iraq protecting our country like so many others, more than 1,800 who have given their lives for a war that he started. With a smirk on his face, he says, "We will stay the course." Who is "we?" Not him or his family. Heck no. He's on a month's vacation. If he's so gung-ho about this war, show us some...
  • are all Zots equal? (According to a recent study, mine leave trolls 40% crispier)

Are all races equal? These days it's no longer a question that is to be debated rather it is gospel and anyone who would dare speak the truth on this issue no matter who cohearent or no matter how sincere are denied a place at the table. We are all forced to bow down to that belief that all people reguardless of racial differences are equal and that we are only different in speech and skin color. But there is more below the skin to be found.

<p>"Guys in my unit would drive by in their Humvee and shatter bottles over the heads of Iraqi civilians passing by. They'd keep a bunch of empty Coke bottles in the Humvee to break over people's heads."</p> <p>"...an Army sergeant lashed a group of children with a steel Humvee antenna, and a Marine corporal planted a vicious kick in the chest of a kid about 6 years old..."</p>
  • If you, gentlemen, really want “to see US politics from another angle” (We get signal)

If you, gentlemen, really want “to see US politics from another angle”, compare it with politics of present-day totalitarian regimes in Central Asia, for instance. And you’ll realize that there are practically no differences for our “democratic” state and e.g. authoritarian government in Turkmenistan. It’s common knowledge that Turkmen authorities abridge liberty of speech, freedom of the press, exercising control over mass and I-net. They bow down, imposing restrictions on freedom of association and assembly, in order to curtail political activity of non-governmental organizations, including groups of religious minorities. Nijazov does it with the aim of exercising control over latitude...
