On Monday and early Tuesday morning five heady polls were released: 1) The CNN poll of GOP contenders with a complete demographic breakdown. 2) The Gallup weekly summary (GWS)of last week's daily tracking poll results with an accompanying demographic breakdown. 3) The weekly Daily Kos poll (conducted by Public Policy Polling)showing a complete demographic breakdown, Obama's approval/disapproval and how Obama would do in the 2012 election if the election were held today. 4)Rasmussen's weekly healthcare poll of the repeal of Obamacare showing 57% want it repealed and only 37% want it kept the way it is and the Rasmussen generic...

. In an interview last night on Fox News, Gov Palin stated that the Paul Ryan budget was a good start. She thanked him for having the political courage to bring the budget issues to the debate. However, she went further than any other potential POTUS candidate in calling for more and quicker cuts than even Paul Ryan's budget. In one interview, Gov Palin has positioned herself has the most fiscal conservative of the possible candidates. Her leaving her state with $12 billion surplus lends even more weight to her argument. The massive surplus in AK that Gov Palin left...

As the budget process unfolds on Capitol Hill, with the prospect of a government shutdown, It has become increasingly apparent that the GOP leadership in Congress lacks the will to fight. Congress is an inherently cowardly institution, but many in the TEA Party (and no doubt Sarah Palin) had hoped that the immense landslide of November 2010 would stiffen the spines of the John Boehner, Eric Cantor and the GOP leaders in Congress. After all, it was the GOP, not the Democrats who received a MANDATE and that mandate was to enact deep spending cuts, along the lines of the...

Governor Palin must be the GOP nominee because of energy. Energy will arguably be the top issue facing America in 2012. The rise in fuel prices also brings about a rise in commodity and food prices, as those products are trucked, shipped, and flown to their destinations. I work in transportation logistics, and I can tell you first hand that fuel prices are so high, drivers for most of the carriers my account is contracted to are refusing to haul freight unless they get additional money for fuel. There are over 6,000 products made from petroleum. Here is a partial...

We are within hours of Sarah Palin's speeech to the Indian conclave. I thought it would be interesting to look back at where Palin has come from and what the pundits, pollsters and history have said about her foreign affairs/national security qualifications or lack of qualifications: The top 10 quotes or events regarding Sarah Palin's foreign affairs experience: 1)Charles Krauthammer July 2009 "...She is NOT a serious candidate for the presidency. She had to go home and study and spend a lot of time on issues in which she was not adept last year and she hasn't. She has to...

It was said that Joseph Stalin use to bring foreign journalists and correspondents to his famous "show trials" of his enemies as essential to the success of them. When arguments that public opinion of Western Europe must be considered during these show trials, Stalin replied “Never mind, they’ll swallow it" Stalin was right, many indeed swallowed it... Conservatives everywhere for the most part understand that most Major news organizations in the United States is nothing more than a propaganda machine for left wing ideology and special interest groups. But more than just knowing who they are, it is also imperative...

Never in the history of the world have so many memes been crafted by the MSM, the Left or Palin's enemies in the GOP establishment to bring someone down. Normally by now, the prey would have quit, ended up being subdued, being imprisoned as political prisoner or been killed. Instead Sarah Palin has managed to keep her head above water, risen from the proverbial ashes as a phoenix on several occasions and even had the effrontery to thrive in defiance of her enemies. So in the interest of reminding folks of the crucible that Palin has emerged here are 50...

Over at conservatives4palin.com a couple of days ago I went out on a limb in response to a skeptic that felt Sarah Palin would not run for POTUS in 2012 and suggested that I could name 50 reasons why Sarah Palin would run for President. Well as I am a person of my word here are those 50 reasons, some understandable and some a little more obscure. Nevertheless, I believe that sometime since 2008 Sarah Palin has considered each one of these issues as she has gotten closer to making the ultimate decision to throw her hat into the ring....

As 2012 approaches, the State of the Union is grave indeed. Our economy is principally threatened by an explosion of federal spending which, if left unchecked, will bury us all in a red inked sea of hyper-inflation, chronic double digit unemployment and shortages. The America we grew up in will cease to exist. Two things seem to me to be essential: 1) A leader with a steel spine who is both principled and fearless in attacking the Leviathan and all its shibboleths; and 2) A platform, a mandate and policies that will both starve and neuter the federal government. In...

72-year old elect Governor Jerry (“Moonbeam”) Brown had his inaugural ceremony Monday. I didn’t listen to it. Well actually, I did hear a portion of it by mistake when I was getting up early in the morning to go to the “boys room”, when an outtake from his speech at the ceremony was played on a local radio station. There was his voice, barking with a rasp as if he is about to lead the soldiers into war: “California! Here I come! – Right back where I started from!” I couldn’t believe what I just heard. That includes the clapping...

I have not posted a vanity for awhile now and I post this in good faith. I was thinking earlier about what the politcal lands would look like with Sarah Palin not in the next Presidential race. I don't think it would be good. I think she has a duty to run unless family reasons dictate otherwise. I hope and pray that she is not buying the media narritive that she is unelectable. I know she is a very smart person. But I hope she has more confidence than to give any thought to the idea that she might not...

Some have said that the stimulus hasn't saved any jobs, but here is a case where at least one job was saved. According to an unnamed source, Oregon State University Athletic Director Bob DeCarolis was considering firing their basketball coach, Craig Robinson, after an 8-11 start (2-5 in the Pac 10 conference). When word of this reached Washington, Undersecretary of Education Martha Kanter was dispatched to Corvallis with $17 million in stimulus money for the university. The source now says that Craig Robinson's job is safe for this year. For the record, Coach Robinson just happens to be ............ Michelle...

OK, here is what I am thinking can/will happen. The first vote for RECONCILITION will pass, something like 222 YES votes... THEN, the very next vote...for the actual SENATE BILL will fail with only say 214 YES votes... This in effect passes the political hot potato to the SENATE to take it back up. The HOUSE did their deed, passing the changes they want...its now back to the SENATE to go thru with it and make career altering votes. Am I onto something????

Does anyone have a figure for this on people in the USA if they don't buy a ObamaCare Health Plan? How many out there are without insurance right now that will probably not be able to afford a policy? Also will people be put on probation like a DWI if they are caught not having it? It seems like this will be a money making racket for the court systems and will turn good honest people who are out of work and unable to pay for a plan into being given a criminal record. Anyone care to comment?

If they are a few votes short, but believe that the country is behind them, wouldn't it make more sense to try to get the votes thru normal procedures? The Obamakazis (don't you just love that word!!) know that their collective gooses are cooked unless they actually have a vote.

I'm not one for posting vanities, but.... There's a sight I imagined the other day, one that I can't get out of my head -- the idea of a million voters, surging through DC and into the Capitol -- and voters placing their congressmen under arrest for crimes against their constituents. A guy can dream, can't he?

One of my favorite movies as a kid was the classic Tora Tora Tora. I first saw it with my brother at the local theater. The majority of the movie were the events leading up to the attack that you knew, we all knew, was coming. I while back a met somone who lived through the attack and I wonder what it must have been like. I can not help, but feel I am now living that same type of event. The air armada is coming ashore for the sneak attack in the form of a massive betrayal of the...

Per Fox, Obama is having a mandatory all House Dems meeting on Saturday. Clearly, this would not be happening if he had his 216 votes. So there.

This is the only way to avoid the arm-twisting!

Head of caucus just announced on Fox. Has there ever been as corrupt a president?
