Are you ready to see how the media works? Warning: extreme sarcasm ahead! Remember, these journalists are brave firefighters. Reporters don't root for either side. Journalism is one of the noblest professions that exists. So, let's check out how our moral betters cover the hard-hitting news of the day. Ah yes! VP Candidate Kamala Harris wore her Timberland boots and it is very much the greatest fashion choice ever made in the history of the United States. She's ready to "get s*** done." What a brave and incredible woman! Her wearing the shoes has on its own redeemed the entire...

He was at a crossroads, his life stretching out before him, his troubles largely behind him. He had enrolled at South Georgia Technical College, preparing to become an electrician, just like his uncles. But first, he decided, he would take a break. College could wait until the fall. To help keep his head clear, he ran, just about every day. Off he’d go, out of the doors of his mother’s house, down the long street toward Fancy Bluff Road. Then would come the right turn onto the two-lane road lined by oak trees draped with Spanish moss. About a mile...

Nathan Phillips: Native American Activist Accuses Nicholas Sandmann of Being 'Coached' for Today Sit-Down A day after Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann sat down with Savannah Guthrie to defend that smirk-seen-’round-the-world, Native American activist Nathan Phillips appeared on NBC’s Today to share his version of what went down at that now-infamous March for Life event. . . . . . . . On Thursday, Phillips was given equal time and alleged that he couldn’t have walked away — even if he wanted to — because he was blocked. “That’s what I was trying to do. I was trying...

Former George W. Bush and John McCain advisor Mark McKinnon joined CNN Tonight With Don Lemon where he questioned Donald Trump’s calls for unity following the attempted bombings of CNN, the Clintons, the Obamas, and others. The bombs were obviously politically motivated as they were sent to people with ties to the Democratic Party, or people who have been critical of Trump. Shortly after the bombs were discovered, Trump gave a speech calling for unity, then quickly blamed the media for the attacks. To point out the blatant hypocrisy, McKinnon quoted former Bush speechwriter Mike Gerson. “You can’t call women...

Donald Trump signed away Obama-era flood standards just weeks before Hurricane Harvey hit Texas in a bid to get infrastructure projects approved more quickly. The rule signed by former president Barack Obama in 2015 had not yet come into effect but aimed to make infrastructure more resilient to the effects of climate change, such as rising sea levels and flooding. Those who backed Obama’s rules believed they would make people safer by putting roads, bridges and other infrastructure on safer ground, NPR reported, but Trump rescinded the rule several weeks ago in an attempt to speed up the time it...

You can call Katie Couric the $10 million anchor. That’s how much Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer is forking over to retain the Web portal’s global news anchor, several sources told The Post on Friday. The new contract, agreed to in the last several days but not yet finalized, gives Couric a stratospheric annual pay package in line with that of NBC’s suspended Nightly News anchor Brian Williams.Only Couric is actually anchoring a newscast. The 58-year-old journalist, who had been negotiating a second contract for the past few months, won a significant rise. While the new deal contains a few...

Hillary Clinton joined Instagram! The former first lady and possibly future first lady president posted her first image today: a rolling rack with three suits each in red, white, and blue, with the caption, “Hard choices.” It’s a genius post of course, as Clinton’s pantsuits have been a point of contention since pretty much forever. [Snip] Clinton has already proven she’s got a killer media team behind her with a great sense of humor; the offerings on her online store are hilarious and perfect on every single level, and her weekly email offers tidbits made for Twitter. Clinton obviously...

One might be able to excuse Democratic spin before the election returns came in. But former Newsweek reporter Andrew Romano offered a real beaut the morning after at Yahoo News, titled “How Hillary Clinton won the 2014 midterms." Many of the candidates that the Clintons backed in this cycle went down to defeat. While Romano isn’t denying 2014 was a good year for Republicans, he could not wait to start shaking the pom-poms for how Hillary’s path is greased for the White House. This is the article that liberals will want to read after they put their handkerchiefs down:

Klingenmeyer told police he was considering filing charges and was "angry that the Palins had showed up and were causing problems," according to the report. He told police he had asked Bristol to leave and she responded, "Who the f*** are you?" Klingemeyer told her he owned the home and Bristol said she didn't believe him and "she will kick his a**," the police report states. Klingenmeyer said that's when Bristol first punched him and he then said he told her to hit "him again if it makes her feel better and she does," according to the document. After five...

George W. Bush was known – and often criticized – for being insular during his eight years in the White House, but he made regular calls to a surprising adviser during his second term: his predecessor. Bill Clinton revealed on Monday that the second President Bush picked his brain twice a year for 30-45 minutes, in wide-ranging conversations that no doubt set the stage for the surprising, "brother-from-another-mother" relationship that the two ex-presidents now share. Bush would call Clinton "just to talk," during his last four years in the White House, the Democrat said in a joint event at the...

Tea Party hopeful Chris McDaniel lost his Republican primary challenge to six-term Sen. Thad Cochran in Mississippi on June 24. Cochran beat him by about 7,700 votes. On July 7, the state's Republican Party certified Cochran's victory. Six weeks after the run-off election, McDaniel is having a tough time moving on. On Monday, McDaniel, a state senator, announced he was formally challenging the results and asking the Mississippi Republican executive committee to declare him the party's nominee in the November general election. "Justice has no timetable, and yet here we stand," McDaniel, 42, told reporters assembled at a press conference...

Yahoo News is becoming a daily pimp bulletin board for Democrats and all left wing causes. It actively promotes pro-abortion and pro-gay news items and demeans conservatives and religious causes. Of course this is being directed from the top- the Yahoo CEOs and directors who are large campaign donors to the Obamas and GLTB causes. The nerds at Yahoo pick up "news items" from Huffington Post, Slate etc and highlight the positive spin on left wing issues or amplify the negative accounts on conservative policies and religious beliefs. The same goes for AOL etc. What is the conservative response to...

I just refreshed my Yahoo! homepage, and there is not one story visible on page one about Ukraine.Obviously the journo-list-ers have decided that the story was hurting King Barack I, so poof! no more Ukraine news!Isn't nice we live in a country under the firm hand of our Glorious Leader, the Hindmost, where we don't have to be disturbed by such upsetting stories?

Charlie Sheen is giving voice to the voice-less in a raging Twitter rant addressing “Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson, who’s in the middle of a controversy over anti-gay and racial comments made during an interview with GQ magazine. No stranger to being in the middle of a media firestorm himself, Sheen shows no mercy for Robertson in a very angry missive posted to Twitter on Saturday. “You have offended and hurt so many dear friends of mine, who DO NOT have the voice or the outreach that I do,” FX’s “Anger Management” star said. “Well, news flash shower-dodger, I will...

The 113th Congress has stuck it to the poor at pretty much every opportunity. In fact, if you take all their past and future plans into account, it looks like they have accomplished that rare feat: To close in on enacting an overarching, radical agenda without control of the Senate or the presidency. How did they do it? Probably by escaping scrutiny through a piecemeal approach to legislation, a president who is willing to meet them halfway, and one diabolic word: Sequester. Let's drill down into each piece: 1. Kick 'em to the curb Congress will basically start kicking poor...

I was perusing through the news and saw many articles on the horrific destruction the storm in the Philippines had wrought. As I reading through the stories at Google, yahoo News, the term 'Climate Negotiator' kept on appearing in article after article. Well, I had no idea what a Climate Negotiator is, does. I mean, trying to negotiate with the climate seems a sissyphean task if not the most mentally stable thing to attempt. I tried searching Google, Yahoo for some precise meaning, job description for a Climate Negotiator but information was far and few between. It seems it is...

Each and every day Yahoo News via e-mail and in their main news tab have a barrage of pro-Obama and anti-Romney news clips. You would think they have prostituted themselves to harlots of the White House spin and have become a fully owned subsidiary of Media Matters. We read glowing accounts of how Obama is rising in the polls, and how 3 out 4 individuals do not connect to Romney, an endless highlighting of Romney's 47% comment, how optimism is on the rise, that home sales are steaming ahead, and this goes on and on. During the RNC Yahoo News...
