Lake County prosecutors said that the gun Kyle Rittenhouse used in the Kenosha shooting was bought, stored and used in Wisconsin. No charges will be filed against him in Lake County. Rittenhouse, 17, of Antioch, is facing charges in Wisconsin of first-degree intentional homicide, two counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety, first-degree reckless homicide, attempted first-degree intentional homicide and possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18. The Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that an extensive investigation was conducted by the Antioch Police Department. The investigation revealed the gun used in the Kenosha shooting was purchased,...

ABC News referred to Kyle Rittenhouse as an “alleged white supremacist” in a report last week, despite the fact that the 17-year-old has no known ties to white supremacism. ABC justified the label by citing former Vice President Joe Biden, who has suggested Rittenhouse is a white supremacist in a campaign ad — and who faces a possible defamation lawsuit as a result. The Daily Wire flagged the ABC report, which said: Rittenhouse, an alleged white supremacist accused of killing two protesters in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in the wake of an officer-involved shooting, appeared via Zoom for an Illinois hearing where...

http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3892701/posts This weekend I posted (see link above) impressive turnout numbers for Republicans in the "WOW" counties surrounding Milwaukee. With about 20% of their 2016 turnout already in, Republican and Republican-leaning voters are early voting in substantial numbers. A deeper dive into the numbers reveals a somewhat surprising statistic: Women comprise a disproportionate share of these "modeled" Republican voters in the WOW counties. Roughly 659K early votes have been cast in Wisconsin and, according to Democrat-firm TargetSmart, the female/male breakdown is 55% (f) vs. 41% (m), with 4% of unknown gender. In the WOW counties, we see the exact same...

From a commentator (Boog) at The Hedgehog Report, a site that looks at polls: Take a look at this electoral map: Trump has a floor of 259 EVs. ... ... What the map shows is that Trump only needs one of WI, MN, PA or MI. He could even win by plucking VA (which is admittedly unlikely), or by taking some mix of NH, ME-2 and NV. On the other hand, Biden has to SWEEP almost all of the remaining states. ... Trump is a candidate who the pollsters are finding it increasingly difficult to poll, and that is why...

A federal appeals court in Wisconsin overruled a lower court's decision to extend the deadline for counting absentee ballots by six days, doling out a win to the state's GOP-led Legislature, which fought hard against the rule change. Sparring over an extended deadline for counting mail-in ballots has been ongoing, with Democrats arguing that an additional week is essential to ensure all absentee ballots are counted in what will likely be a highly competitive presidential election. Without the extra time, which would allow ballots postmarked by Nov. 3 but that arrive as late as Nov. 9 to be counted, Democrats...

Madison police announced Friday they have not been able to corroborate allegations made by a biracial Monona woman that she was burned by four white men in Downtown Madison in June in what was initially reported as a hate crime and garnered national and international attention. Althea Bernstein, 18, told police someone sprayed lighter fluid on her and set her on fire in the early morning hours of June 24 after one of the men yelled a racial epithet. But on Friday, the police department said it was closing the case because “after an exhaustive probe, detectives were unable to...

The mother and sisters of Alvin Cole were arrested Thursday night by Wauwatosa police, who were cracking down on protesters after curfew. Multiple people who witnessed the arrests said Tracy, Taleavia and Tristiana Cole were taken into custody just after 8:30 p.m. along with several others in the parking lot of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church at the intersection of Wauwatosa and Milwaukee avenues. Wauwatosa was under a 7 p.m. curfew Thursday, the second night of protests after Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm decided not to charge Police Officer Joseph Mensah with the shooting death of Cole, 17, earlier...

Sixty to 70 Black Lives Matter activists 'targeted' the black officer, vandalized his girlfriend’s home, and fired a shotgun at his back door in August. Riots erupted this week when he was not charged. Black Lives Matter protesters took to the streets of Milwaukee and Wauwatosa Wednesday night, with some of the “peaceful” demonstrators smashing windows of homes and businesses and clashing with law enforcement and the National Guard.“What started as a protest has become a large disturbance of public order that has caused property damage and is threatening to cause injury to persons,” the Wauwatosa Police Department tweeted just...

President Trump’s cutting back on campaign commercials in some of the key Midwestern battlegrounds that helped him win the White House four years ago – and shifting resources to a bunch of crucial swing states further south. The president’s re-election campaign has dropped roughly $2 million in ad reservations in Michigan and Wisconsin since last month, according to Advertising Analytics , Medium Buying, and Kantar Media’s Campaign Media Analysis Group , three leading ad tracking firms. Trump narrowly won the two states in 2016, breaking a quarter century long winning streak by Democrats.

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — A federal appeals court on Thursday blocked a decision to extend the deadline for counting absentee ballots in battleground Wisconsin, in a win for Republicans who have fought attempts to expand voting across the country. If the ruling stands, absentee ballots will have to be delivered to Wisconsin election clerks by 8 p.m. on Election Day if they are to be counted. Results of the presidential race in the pivotal swing state would be known within hours of polls closing. Democrats almost certainly will appeal the decision to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Black Lives Matter mobs protesting in Wisconsin over the decision not to charge a black cop for fatally shooting a gun-firing teen turned their rage on innocent homeowners — lobbing rocks through windows on a residential street. Troubling video showed up to a dozen people running up to homes in Wauwatosa, the sound of breaking glass and celebratory horn blasts as they repeatedly hurl heavy objects through windows. “That’s people’s houses!” at least one distressed-sounding woman screamed, as others tried to get the rampaging mob to stop, as filmed by Julio Rosas, a reporter for the conservative publication Townhall. “That’s...

2020: Defeat Communism The liberal media is once again trying to demoralize Trump nation. Americans know the importance of this year’s election. It’s Freedom and Prosperity vs. Communism and Collapse Republicans are essentially tied or leading mail-in returns in Arizona, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Michigan.— Red Eagle Politics (@RedEaglePatriot) October 6, 2020 The cringe, virtue signaling of this account aside; Biden should not be going to Gettysburg, PA if he is truly up by 9%. If anything, he should be staying in his basement waiting for his inauguration if that was the case. https://t.co/ohq5dm8j59— Red Eagle Politics (@RedEaglePatriot) October 6, 2020...

Shuttered by COVID-19 infections, the Republican-led Senate is refusing to delay confirmation of President Donald Trump’s pick for the Supreme Court. They are even willing to make special arrangements so sick senators can vote for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, and Democrats appear powerless to stop them. Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., said Monday that he’ll go to the Capitol “in a moon suit” to vote if he’s still testing positive for the coronavirus, which has killed more than 209,000 Americans and infected millions. The push to put conservative Judge Amy Coney Barrett on the high court before Nov. 3 is like...

The University of Wisconsin-Madison doctoral program in second language acquisition recently held a virtual lecture on “Undoing White Supremacy in the Language Disciplines.” Professor Mary Bucholtz from the University of California-Santa Barbara spoke as a guest at the virtual lecture. Bucholtz identified herself as being “racist” because she is “a White American.”

Clinton campaign lawyer Marc E. Elias gave the scheme away in an article published Saturday morning at Medium announcing Clinton would join the recount effort in Wisconsin by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein and that Clinton would join Stein should she also file for recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania. Elias wrote that starting the day after the election the Clinton campaign worked to find ways to reverse TrumpÂ’s election. EliasÂ’ statement: Â…we have quietly taken a number of steps in the last two weeks to rule in or out any possibility of outside interference in the vote tally in...

The Mathematical Association of America released a statement Friday claiming both that mathematicians should engage in “uncomfortable conversations” about race, and that policies of from the Trump administration, like the lack of a mask mandate in the United States, are somehow an affront to mathematics. The group concludes with a call for a “pursuit of justice” within math.

Republican Sen. Ron Johnson (Wis.) said Sunday that if Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins the presidential election next month, “America would change forever" adding that in his view, “this election is for all the marbles.” “America would change forever. This election is for all the marbles. The Senate Democrats would pack the court. They would get rid of the filibuster so they could enact all these crazy socialist… policies,” Johnson told John Catsimatidis Sunday on his radio show “The Cats Roundtable” on WABC 77 AM. The senator was referring to calls from some Democrats to add more justices to the...

The monthly Democracy Institute Sunday Express poll for the Presidential election shows that Mr Trump is still on course for victory with 46 percent of the popular support compared to his Democrat rival Joe Biden’s 45 percent. However, his overall lead has dropped by two points since the last poll in September. The poll was completed after the news broke that President Trump and his wife Melania have been infected by Covid-19. But 68 percent said the illness would not affect their vote while 19 percent said they were “more likely” to support Trump and only 13 percent “less likely”....
