The Mathematical Association of America released a statement Friday claiming both that mathematicians should engage in “uncomfortable conversations” about race, and that policies of from the Trump administration, like the lack of a mask mandate in the United States, are somehow an affront to mathematics. The group concludes with a call for a “pursuit of justice” within math.

Total lack of self awareness by Mathematics Association. If math is racist, math associations can be racist, too.
Numbers are smart. Mathematics is racist. Mathematics is sexist. A mathematical problem can look at the solver and decide to be more difficult if the person in front of the paper is not white or male.
Numbers can be either rational, or irrational. So can math associations.
