I heard from two different sources in two days that there have been some reports that the army reservists working at Abu Graib were being prescribed anti-depressants because of the high stress of their jobs. Now I am not saying this is true, but I am asking if anyone here at FR has any contacts to find this kind of info out. I know in the case of those kids at Columbine, it took over a year for the info that those kids were on similar drugs to come out. It was all quashed because of doctor/patient confidentiality. I think...

TAMPA -- John F. Kerry's quest for the White House will probably end with an election-night event in Copley Square that could attract the huge crowds, security, and reporters reminiscent of the Democratic National Convention, while offering Bostonians a chance to witness history. As many as 30,000 people are expected at the event Kerry hopes will be a victory party. He wants to stage the event outside the Boston Public Library on Copley Square, surrounded by the nearby Trinity Church and John Hancock Tower, aides said yesterday. Seth Gitell, spokesman for Mayor Thomas M. Menino, confirmed that Kerry's campaign had...

Paulson, Associated Press Writer Sep 30, 2004 10:58 am US/Mountain DENVER (AP) An estimated 90,000 Hispanics have moved to the Front Range over the past three years, according to Census figures released Thursday, a fact that has not gone unnoticed by Republicans and Democrats. Both parties are offering pamphlets and Internet sites in Spanish, spokesmen for Spanish radio and television stations and making sure they are represented in leadership positions. Democrats said Attorney General Ken Salazar, the first Hispanic elected to statewide office...

Sprinting is not only the most natural form of movement, but also an individual sport that allows comparing the performance of differente athletes over different periods of time. Today sprinting became the first and ONLY truly global individual sport. Jeromy Wariner became today the first white american (and the second white ever, after the greek Kenteris in 2002) to enter the top ten "all time" performer list of an olympic sprint contest (100, 200 and 400 m).
