President Donald Trump is under fire after an explosive report in the New York Times quoted a memo from former FBI Director James Comey indicating Trump had asked him to cease the federal investigation into Michael T. Flynn. The memo was allegedly penned after a meeting Comey had with Trump in February, with Comey writing in the memo afterwards that Trump said “I hope you can let this go,” in regards to the Flynn investigation.
