<p>It would appear that the conservative spirit in America is dying. Is that good? Yes, indeed it is. The conservatives have done nothing good in their history. They fought to maintain slavery by giving the excuse of states' rights, they fought segregation on the basis of state's rights, and they still fight today.</p>
