<p>Limbaugh sought to assure his listeners that no efforts had been made to turn him into a "linguini-spined liberal," and at least half the show was dedicated to his usual topics: contemporary politics and the failings of Democrats and the Left. "Memo to you liberals," he said at the end of the show's three hours. "The party is over. I'm back. See you tomorrow."</p>
