WASHINGTON, Oct. 4, 2006 -- A group from Massachusetts worked diligently on the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks to keep the nation’s servicemembers warm. New England Caring For Our Military volunteers, a Massachusetts-based nonprofit organization, help get fleece blankets ready to ship to servicemembers serving away from home Sept. 11. Each of nearly 1,200 blankets, which an area textile mill donated, was accompanied by a letter thanking the troops for their service and explaining who was involved in getting the blankets to them. The NY Press has published an 'Article' about how damned funny it is that the pope is dying. The NY Press website seems to be down for now. But The link to Hillary and Schumer's outrage at the Daily New is still up.(Please see attached URL)I'm not Catholic, but I admire the Pope quite a bit. I feel that the NY Pol's outrage is politicallymotivated, but I'm probably just being cynical.

I have heard 'Halliburton' for the last bloody gosh darned time, I have completely blown a head gasket!Is there any possibility at all that the huge Heinz corporation may be 'profiting' from this war such as providing food stuffs for MREs?I'd love to be able to throw that back into the face of the few but obnoxious Kerry voters that I know.I can defend Dick Cheney but it would be nice to have a little extra ammo:)
