Munib Suljic who has been sentenced to 12 years in prison in absentia was arrested in The Hague on June 1. The Interior Ministry has learned from well-informed sources that he had surrendered to the Dutch police due to his serious health situation. After being treated at the prison hospital he will be transferred to extradition custody where he will be awaiting to be handed over to Croatia. The state prosecution has allegedly known about Suljic’s surrender and had already requested to conduct an interview with him at The Hague custody.
