LAS VEGAS (AP) — A federal officer says a man arrested at a Donald Trump rally in Las Vegas told authorities he tried to grab an officer's gun so he could kill the candidate. A complaint filed Monday in U.S. District Court in Nevada charges Michael Steven Sandford with an act of violence on restricted grounds. It cites a report by Special Agent Swierkowski, whose first name was not included, saying Sandford told officers he drove from California to kill Trump and went to a Las Vegas gun range the day before to learn to shoot.

Ryan Routh, who is charged in the second assassinate attempt of Donald Trump, tied himself to the President-elect’s other would-be assassin, Thomas Crooks, in a bizarre letter from jail — in which he also ranted about the “two-party system.” Routh 58, sent the letter to Politico reporter Ankush Khardori from a federal detention center in Miami where he is awaiting trial after he allegedly tried to take out Trump at his Florida golf course earlier this year. Less than two weeks ago, a woman named Nathalie Rose Jones traveled from New York to Washington, DC with the intent of killing President Trump. US Attorney For DC Jeanine Pirro announced her arrest saying, “She was working to have [Trump] eliminated. She’s now in custody, she will be prosecuted to the fullest extent to the law.” Now this woman has been quietly released by Obama appointed Judge James Boasberg. That would be the same Judge Boasberg who has repeatedly interfered in efforts to deport illegal alien criminals. The New York Post reports:
