    Since the beginning of the 20th century, my Sweden and America has traded cars. Let's hope this trend continues. The yearly festival hosted by the city of Västerås honors this tradition. See clip below.

    I'm Swedish. I recall being about 5-6 years old and visiting a family my parents knew who had been to America for holiday. I and my brother repeatedly demanded of them to show their super-8 films feauturing places they'd visited over there like Disney World ín Fla.     The 'biggest American car show in the world' opened in Västerås in central Sweden on Thursday. More than 10,000 cars are expected for the Big Meet 2008 show. The annual event started 31 years ago and was founded by Kjell Gustafsson who has seen it grow from the humble beginnings of 40-80 cars in a parking lot in Anderstorp.
