Update: Hawaii “vexatious” bill “deferred” (Mar. 17, 2010) — An article by the Associated Press posted today begins with “Birthers beware: Hawaii may start ignoring your repeated requests for proof that President Barack Obama was born here.” The story referred to the public hearing on SB2937, -snip- If passed, the measure would amend the state’s current Open Records Law (UIPA) to allow certain individuals perceived to be troublesome to have their requests for information denied and carry the label “vexatious” for a period not to exceed two years.
