Establishment Republican Congressman Van Taylor (Texas — 3rd District) is dropping out of his re-election race after NATIONAL FILE exclusively broke the story that Van Taylor had an extramarital affair with an ISIS bride, abusing his power by requesting a “slow rim job” from the woman and trying to keep her quiet with lavish money offers. Van Taylor was held to less than 50 percent of the vote in his primary on Tuesday night and forced into a runoff against second-place challenger Judge Keith Self and now the Republicans do not see any path forward for the sitting Congressman. Rep. Van Taylor (R-TX) suspended his campaign on Wednesday upon admitting he had an affair with “ISIS bride” Tania Joya, which Breitbart News reported earlier in the week. “About a year ago, I made a horrible mistake that has caused deep hurt and pain among those I love most in this world. I had an affair, it was wrong, and it was the greatest failure of my life,” he said in a public statement.

Late Wednesday afternoon, Taylor's campaign manager, Casey Phillips, made the following statement: "To me, this offer really reminds me of a school yard bully backing down from a fight once...

April 10, 2006 — When John Kerry took the stage to formally accept the Democratic Party's nomination in the summer of 2004, he did so highlighting a portion of his biography he hoped would resonate positively with the American people. "I'm John Kerry and I'm reporting for duty," said the former naval lieutenant, with his saluting hand to his forehead. Biography is not destiny, or so goes the political adage. "When candidates introduce themselves through biography, it invites voters in in a unique way, a way of relating to people in their own lives and experiences," said Tad Devine, a...
