I have in the past written generally about progressivism and people laundering, here. But instead of ideas and generalities with a few specifics, this time I will be more detailed. So how do you take a revolutionary and shine them up like a bright shiny new car? How do you go from this: A jeans wearing, unpolished, rugged revolutionary, to this: Understanding how progressives use positions of power, authority, and "pure" non profits as a position to re-brand their own as palatable members of society is an extremely important thing to understand. This blog post could just as easily be...

A short comment about the pictures I chose. Did you happen to notice the purple background? The Center for American Progress. That's in/of itself important, but I'll get to that later. Now, not all revolutionaries are worthy of much, if any attention. Many times they have set the bar so high that they can't achieve the things they set out to do. But every now and then, you find that they end up making it into positions of political power, and when they do that it's necessary for you to sit up, take notice, and learn. Realistically all revolutionaries...

The United States of America is becoming more like Nazi Germany every single day. In fact, the Nazification of America is almost complete. The parallels between Nazi Germany and the United States of today are going to absolutely shock many of you. Most Americans simply have never learned what life was really like back in Nazi Germany. Under Adolf Hitler, Germany was a Big Brother totalitarian police state that ruthlessly repressed freedom and individual liberty. Under Adolf Hitler, Germany adopted socialism, dramatically increased government spending and raised taxes to astronomical levels. Under Adolf Hitler, abortion became legal in Germany, the...

I knew a long time ago that Jones was a serious player, who was going to be with us for the long haul, that's one of the reasons why this is being done. Now, Nancy Pelosi has confirmed what I knew a year ago: But as 3,000 Democrats met this weekend in San Diego for a three day convention here, Jones was lauded by Burton and Pelosi, who even described herself as “a fan” of Jones - a positive statement also once echoed by 2010 Republican gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman. Here is how the source article itself opens: Van Jones,...

San Diego – Van Jones, the former Obama Administration green czar who resigned in controversy, appears on the fast track to a political comeback — emerging as a star at this weekend’s California Democratic convention and lauded by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi as a “leader of the future.” Jones, who as head of an activist group called “Rebuild the Dream” has become a leading voice of the Occupy movement, was given the star speaking slot to address hundreds at the kickoff Friday night reception here sponsored by state party chair John Burton. To the cheers of the grassroots activists,...

Actual title is : It’s baaack! The plan to kill talk radio. Group advising White House wants to restore controversial policy An organization that helped to craft President Obama’s environmental policies has recommended the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine, purportedly as a method of silencing critics of the theory of global warming. The Presidential Climate Action Project, or PCAP, last year released an extensive list of recommendations for the White House in a 75-page paper entitled, “Building the Obama Administration’s Climate Legacy.” Primary among the PCAP’s recommendations is that the Department of Energy should join the U.S. Department of Housing...

How many ordinary Americans, much less 18 year olds, have heard the name Van Jones? If you've been engaged in the fight to hold onto the real American dream, you know him, but most law abiding citizens simply don't have the time or the will to be aware of all the destructive people threatening to tear our country down. A college student brought to my attention a textbook she uses for public speaking class. The first chapter in The Art of Public Speaking by Stephen E. Lucas opens with a tribute to Anthony "Van" Jones "one of the most powerful...

An activist group whose leaders object to the beliefs of Pat Buchanan, a senior adviser to three American presidents, a candidate for the Republican nomination in 1992 and 1996, and the Reform Party’s presidential candidate in 2000, is announcing victory in its campaign to have the author of multiple best-selling books removed from MSNBC. “ColorOfChange.org welcomes MSNBC’s decision to indefinitely supend (sic) Pat Buchanan,” ColorOfChange.org Executive Director Rashad Robinson posted in an online statement.

President Obama's surrogates, not giving up hope that the themes of the "occupy movement" will help his reelection and push Congress to back Democratic jobs ideas, are looking to the birthday and federally-sanctioned holiday of what Obama activist Van Jones calls the "original Occupier," Martin Luther King Jr., to spark action on the streets of America. Jones, part of a group called "Rebuild the Dream,"- which sees itself as a liberal version of the Tea Party movement- said the gatherings will kick off what he sees as a "turbulent, exciting" year, led by civil rights leaders pushing a new agenda...

Many of you may be familiar with a new movement sweeping our nation, and, if you are less than thirty-two, they claim to be speaking for you. Just like Paul Revere warned the earliest Americans that the British were indeed coming, I am warning you today that change is coming, and at the expense of everything we stand for. This new movement known as Generation WE is a movement that blatantly spreads full-scale communist ideals via a largely youthful and diverse mouthpiece. They claim to be momentously (and in my opinion dangerously) non-partisan and are looking for “real change” (I guess they didn’t get it in ’08). The group categorizes themselves as being strongly progressive several times throughout it’s duration. What astounds me most is the fact that that eight to ten year olds have allegedly come to embrace such worldly progressivism all by themselves. I thought that most children were more interested in cartoons and candy than in learning of progressive ideas and politics. I guess times have changed.

OAKLAND — As anti-Wall Street protesters attempt to regroup and settle in for winter after a series of police raids that stripped much of the movement of its signature camps, protesters on the West Coast are staging a comeback. On Dec. 12, Occupy movements from Seattle to San Diego say they will shut down their local ports, temporarily stopping the flow of capital on the West Coast. Organizers say they aim to disrupt the business of the “1 percent” — in this case, the corporations that own shipping terminals and do business at the ports. If successful, shutting down the...

Occupy Protesters Consider Political FutureBy Don Gonyea Thu., December 1, 2011 3:45am (EST) **SNIP** One who has been watching the Occupy movement closely is Van Jones, an activist who once worked in the Obama White House, and who now heads an organization called Rebuild the Dream. Jones has spoken at Occupy encampments and met with those working on the next steps. He thinks that the movement can work on multiple fronts. Protests and demonstrations are important, Jones says, but so too are elections. "There's no reason to do an either or here. This can be one of the biggest movements...

Can The Disgraced Van Jones Build A Left-Wing Version Of The Tea Party? Michael Brendan Dougherty Nov. 26, 2011, 11:33 AM Remember Van Jones, the President Obama's "green energy czar," from the early days of the administration? He's the one who resigned after Glenn Beck and others exposed a video of him calling Republicans "assholes," and his dabbling in 9/11 conspiracy theories. Well, according to Politico, he's back. And he's apparently helping to shepherd an open-source left-wing political coalition that was inspired by the Tea Party. He calls it The American Dream Movement, and its slogan is "Rebuild the Dream"...

As an unabashed and high-profile liberal on President Barack Obama’s White House staff, former “green energy” czar Van Jones was to Republicans what a red cape is to a snorting bull: an irresistible target. So when he resigned in 2009 under withering fire from the right — triggered by a video of him disparaging the GOP, followed by revelations of a tenuous connection to Sept. 11 conspiracy theorists — few doubted Jones was finished in Washington. He acknowledged as much a year later, writing in The New York Times that politics has become “a combination of speed chess and Mortal...

Van Jones offered a prediction Wednesday for those who have been watching the Occupy Wall Street movement: “You haven’t seen anything yet.” The former Obama administration “green jobs czar” — an ardent supporter of the Occupy movement since its inception — said in an interview with CNN that the movement is ready to evolve into the areas of politics and policy-making, much like the Tea Party did in 2010. “You’re going to see an evolution now as you go from protests, keep the protests, but now expand into politics,” Jones said. “And if you thought there was an earthquake in...

Here we are again, the Left exploiting children to push their own convoluted agenda. This time, it's Van Jones using children to push his 10-point "Contract for the American Dream" plan. Ironically, in the video the children plead to increase Social Security taxes so our seniors can have a secure retirement. Too bad Van Jones isn't telling these kids that when they get a job and start paying into the Social Security system, they'll never see a dime of their own money back when they retire. Points made in the video: 1. Invest in American's Infrastructure 2. Create 21st Century...

Our mainstream media have discovered a new issue: inequality in America. The gap between the wealthiest 1 percent and the rest of the nation is wide and growing wider. This, we are told, is intolerable. This is a deformation of American democracy that must be corrected through remedial government action. What action? The rich must pay their fair share. Though the top 1 percent pay 40 percent of federal income taxes and the bottom 50 percent have, in some years, paid nothing, the rich must be made to pay more. That's an appealing argument to many, but one that would...

A Van Jones protege, Jakada Imani, was sworn in as the newest member of the Oakland Port Board of Commissioners Tuesday October 20, a mere twelve days before Occupy Oakland protesters marched to the Port of Oakland and "effectively shut down" the fifth largest containerized port in the U.S..If Imani's anti-capitalism, "dream" talk sounds like Jones it's because the two go way back. The new port commissioner joined the Ella Baker Center in the late 1990's "to organize for peace, justice and opportunity for communities of color and low-income Californians." Imani boasted about his record before his confirmation.: I also...
