Tapper served up an opportunity for Johnson to characterize Trump as a Russian stooge. He did the exact opposite. CNN talking head Jake Tapper gave former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson an opportunity this week to help the American media establishment advance its latest Trump-Russia smear. Johnson, whose time as prime minister and foreign secretary overlapped Trump's first four years in the White House, not only proved unwilling to cosign the narrative but highlighted President Donald Trump's historic efforts to keep Russia in check — something the Biden-Harris administration has alternatively had difficulty with. Johnson went on CNN to promote...

Secretary of State Antony Blinken's surprise trip to Ukraine Tuesday took a musical twist when he joined a band onstage in Kyiv to perform a rendition of Neil Young's Rockin' in the Free World. Blinken's unscheduled trip was his first since Congress finally approved nearly $61 billion in fresh aid to Ukraine to bolster the nation's defenses against the ongoing Russian invasion. The secretary of State ended his day at the Barman Dictat in Kyiv, where he joined the band 19.99 onstage. Sporting dad jeans, black sneakers and a black button-down, Blinken strapped on a red guitar and told the...

Kudos to FOX News reporter Bill Melugin for going where no FOX News reporter has dared to venture before. Melugin asked the most obvious question on overy Republican voter’s mind – why should we keep voting for these cowards and liars? In April, Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republicans voted to send another $95 billion in military aid to Ukraine, Taiwan, and Israel and NOTHNG for securing our own border with Mexico. This was the last straw for millions of Americans who thought they were voting for politicians who actually cared about America First and the global community second. On...

There are five things the aid package will not do for Ukraine. It will not provide enough money. It will not provide the badly needed weapons, nor deliver them on time. It will not provide the even more badly needed troops. And it will not provide victory. Though $61 billion is a massive amount of money, it is not massive enough to defeat Russia. Ukraine accomplished little but the loss of life and the most advanced weapons during its centerpiece counteroffensive when it was receiving even more.

He caved because he’s weak and unprincipled and, like the rest of the GOP establishment, doesn’t care what Republican voters think.Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson is now being feted by the likes of Politico and The New York Times for selling out Republican voters and working with Democrats to pass a foreign aid package last week that will send tens of billions more taxpayer dollars to Ukraine. If you recall, this is something Johnson repeatedly vowed he would not do until Democrats agreed to secure the southern border. He said this over and over, both before and after he became speaker....

Thrilla the Gorilla @ThrillaRilla369 https://twitter.com/Red_Pill_US/status/1744804447749132757/video/1 This really puts things into perspective: "With the 165 Billion we gave to Ukraine, we could have built six border walls to stop illegal immigrants from pouring across our southern border. Could have fixed Flint's water system 215 times over easily. I like this one. Could have given every homeless vet $2 million.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said on this week’s broadcast on “Fox News Sunday” that Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) aid package that included for Ukraine would not have passed the House without help from former President Donald Trump. Graham said, “The Ukrainian military, with our help, has killed about 50% of the combat power of the Russians. This is the year of more. They’re going to have more weapons, but we also want them to have new weapons, ATACMS to knock the bride down between Crimea and Russia. They are going to have F-16s. So, this idea give up on Ukraine...

President Trump released a statement this afternoon on the massive amount of aid that the United States is providing to Ukraine as Europe does next to nothing, and Congress announces a new $95 billion foreign aid package. “Why is it that the United States is over $100 Billion Dollars into the Ukraine War more than Europe, and we have an Ocean between us as separation!” said Trump in a scathing Truth Social post.

the package Mike Johnson announced Wednesday includes terms that will allow the President to cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt after November 15, 2024 and the remaining 50% after January 1, 2024. It’s no wonder why Joe Biden came out “strongly” in support of the package, urging the House and Senate to pass it. After President Trump wins the 2024 election, as expected, Joe Biden can cancel 50% of Ukraine’s debt before his term is over in January. If Biden and the Democrats pull off another stolen election, they can forgive 100% of Ukraine’s debt a little over one year later.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has introduced multiple amendments to Biden and Speaker Mike Johnson’s foreign aid package, which funds Ukraine, Israel, and Palestine as our US Southern Border remains wide open and Biden’s Border Bloodbath rages on. The $95 billion package provides an additional “$60.84 billion to address the conflict in Ukraine and assist our regional partners as they counter Russia, $23.2 billion of which will be used for replenishment of U.S. weapons, stocks, and facilities.” It also provides aid to both Israel and, reportedly, Palestine. “I will sign this into law immediately to send a message to the...

Sen. Rand Paul has directed a stern warning at former President Trump, cautioning that his continued backing of Speaker Johnson could alienate a significant portion of his base. “If Trump supports this monstrous, unpaid for foreign aid debt buster, he will lose the very supporters who comprise his vanguard. Mark my words,” Sen. Rand Paul warned.

House Democrats are gearing up to offer a lifeline to embattled House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) amidst a brewing storm that threatens to unseat him. .... Snip.... Democrats are hinting they would stand by Johnson if he advances an aid package for Ukraine. WATCH:

To get Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to end his block on a 50 billion euro ($54.3 billion) aid package for Ukraine, other European Union leaders teamed up ahead of a crunch summit to deliver a stark message: You're on your own this time. The veteran Hungarian leader, who maintains close ties to Moscow despite its invasion of Ukraine, has been adept in the past at finding enough support among his peers to drive a hard bargain in EU negotiations. But in the days and hours before Thursday's special summit in Brussels, leaders - individually and in groups - told...

European Union leaders unanimously agreed on Thursday to extend 50 billion euros ($54 billion) in new aid to Ukraine, the chairman of the summit said, overcoming weeks of resistance from Hungary and winning praise from Kyiv. Before the summit started, EU leaders piled pressure on Hungary to lift its block, telling Prime Minister Viktor Orban to pick sides in what several saw as an existential challenge posed by Russia's war in Ukraine, the biggest conflict in Europe since World War Two. "We have a deal. Unity," said European Council President Charles Michel in a post on X. "All 27 leaders...

COTTON: BIDEN SUPPLEMENTAL SPENDING PROPOSAL IS DEAD ON ARRIVAL FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact: Caroline Tabler or James Arnold (202) 224-2353 October 20, 2023 Cotton: Biden Supplemental Spending Proposal is Dead on Arrival Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement after President Biden released his proposed supplemental spending bill: “President Biden’s slush fund proposal is dead on arrival, just like his budgets. We will not spend, for example, $3.5 billion to address the ‘potential needs of Gazans,’ essentially functioning as a resupply line for Hamas terrorists. ****“We will also not spend $11.8 billion to fund the Ukrainian...

WASHINGTON — President Biden’s staff confirmed Friday that he is asking Congress for much greater aid to Ukraine by hitching it to a smaller and more popular spending request for Israel after Hamas terrorists slaughtered 1,400 people in a surprise attack this month. Biden on Thursday night used his second primetime Oval Office address since taking office to urge passage of the combined package, which the White House confirmed Friday morning would be $14.3 billion for Israel — just a quarter of the $61.4 billion he’s seeking for Ukraine. Another $30.1 billion would go to various other projects, bringing the...

Exploiting Israel to score a political victory.Biden’s speech on the brutal Hamas atrocities was a good speech, not in that he delivered it well or especially convincingly (let’s not even rehash the invented Golda Meir story) but it appeared to have been written by someone who cared enough to inject it with moral outrage and certainty. It would have been a better speech for someone else. But rhetoric is relatively cheap in politics. More significant than the moral outrage are the actual policy statements. As many noted, there’s no mention of Iran. That’s not surprising as the administration’s position is not...

The United States will provide Kyiv with a new military package worth up to $500 million, the Pentagon said on Tuesday, in a show of support for Ukraine's fight against Russia as Moscow deals with the aftermath of a mutiny by mercenary fighters. The package will include ground vehicles including Bradley fighting vehicles and Stryker armored personnel carriers, and munitions for High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, according to a statement from the Pentagon. The package "includes key capabilities to support Ukraine's counteroffensive operations, strengthen its air defenses ... and other equipment to help Ukraine push back on Russia's war of...
