Andrew Cleckley Funeral Home was overwhelmed and ran out of room for bodies, which were awaiting cremation, and used the trucks for storage, a second law enforcement source said Wednesday. At least one of the trucks was unrefrigerated, according to one law enforcement official. One source said the bodies were put on ice. The Department of Environmental Protection issued two summonses to the owner of the funeral home for a foul odor.

The shooting that unfolded at a kosher market in Jersey City, N.J., was a "targeted" attack, according to officials who say at least one of the suspects had published anti-Semitic and anti-police posts online before opening fire Tuesday. Mayor Steven Fulop would not commit on Wednesday to calling the shooting an anti-Semitic attack, but said after reviewing surveillance footage, investigators believe the attack was plotted against the Jewish deli. He told reporters footage shows the gunmen passing by other shops before getting out of a van and aiming for the market.

A man accused of stealing handguns apparently shot himself after authorities chased the U-Haul truck he was driving across the Inland Empire Wednesday afternoon. The pursuit began in Santa Ana, on the eastbound 22 Freeway near where it meets Interstate 5, according to the California Highway Patrol. It had since wound its way through Orange County and the Riverside area, winding up on the 15 Freeway in San Bernardino County. A New Orleans man is accused of trying to kill a Slidell police officer Wednesday (Feb. 21) by running over him with a stolen U-Haul truck. Ricky Cooper, 32, was booked with attempted murder of a peace officer, resisting an officer and possession of a stolen vehicle, the Slidell Police Department reported. More than one-quarter of Americans would consider moving to another country such as Canada if businessman Donald Trump wins the presidency, according to a new poll. Ed Donovan, a spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service, told ABC News the truck carrying equipment was stolen between late Saturday night and early Sunday morning at the Westin Hotel in Detroit. He would not specify what kind of equipment was in the truck.

DETROIT - A U-Haul being used by the secret service for Vice President Joe Biden's visit to the Labor Day Rally in Detroit on Monday was stolen out of a hotel parking lot Sunday morning. The U-Haul was stolen form the Holiday Inn parking lot in downtown Detroit on Washington Boulevard. The hotel has declined to comment. ELFRIDA - A U-Haul truck packed with illegal immigrants was pulled over near Elfrida Thursday by Cochise County deputies. Around 5:30 p.m. Thursday deputies pulled over the 26-foot truck after they noticed it was driving erractically on Davis Road. After stopping, the driver and passenger bailed from the truck. When deputies opened the back, they found 67 illegal immigrants inside. The immigrants and the truck were turned over to the U.S. Border Patrol.
