After a government semi-shutdown, the disastrous rollout of HealthCare.gov and the looming budget crisis coming again in January, you’d think the second-ranking Democrat in the Senate would reserve his limited time and resources to focus on fixing these critical issues the federal government has already messed up. You’d be wrong. Senator Richard Durbin, the second most powerful man in the Senate, will hold a special hearing this week on state self-defense laws and the death of Trayvon Martin. (PJ Media has extensively covered the Trayvon Martin incident. See, “Justice for Trayvon, Race Hustler Style,” or Bill Whittle’s fantastic revelation about...

Canberra, 7 July (AKI) - Terrorists that carried out the multiple blasts that hit London's transport system on Thursday morning could conduct further attacks in the near future unless they are captured, according to a leading al-Qaeda and terrorism expert, Rohan Gunaratna. "If the cell that perpetuated these attacks is not neutralised, there is likely to be another attack in the coming days," said Gunaratna, the head of Singapore's International Center for Political Violence and Terrorism Research in an interview with Adnkronos International (AKI). The coordinated and simultaneous manner in which the attacks were conducted, and the fact that they...

I am writing today to express my outrage at the actions of our troops. It has came to my attention recently that our troops have employed the methods of those long gone, yet not forgotten monsters, the Nazis. According to Richard Durbin our troops are taking a page out of the playbook of Hitler. I can see them now, the Muslims all being lined up and forced into trains, no room left to stand, and shipped to camps dotted across the desert. Others are forced to march in the heat, unaware of the final solution they are destined to complete....

IN A speech on the Senate floor Tuesday, the assistant Democratic leader likened the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay to Nazi, Soviet, and Cambodian concentration camps. What's giving America a black eye is the slander of our troops by Mr. Durbin, Amnesty, and others. Americans should be outraged, but not by the conduct of our soldiers

Buyer Demands Apology From Sen. Durbin An Indiana congressman is demanding an apology from a US senator. The issue is what the senate's number two Democrat said on the Senate floor this week about how prisoners are treated at Guantanamo Bay. The White House is angry and Indiana Congressman Steve Buyer is among several Republicans who are demanding an apology. Illinois senior Senator Richard Durbin quoted an FBI report on conditions at Guantanamo Bay. "On one occasion the air conditioning had been turned down so far the temperature in the room was so cold the barefooted detainee was shaking with...
