ZURICH (Reuters) - Novartis Chief Executive Vas Narasimhan said his Sandoz generics unit's malaria, lupus and arthritis drug hydroxychloroquine is the company's biggest hope against the coronavirus, Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung reported on Sunday. Novartis has pledged to donate 130 million doses and is supporting clinical trials needed before the medicine, which U.S. President Donald Trump also has been promoting, can be approved for use against the coronavirus. Other companies including Bayer and Teva have also agreed to donate hydroxychloroquine or similar drugs, while Gilead Sciences is testing its experimental drug remdesivir against coronavirus. • Media pat themselves on the back following implosion of the collusion news cycle

If you are hoping for an industrywide reckoning in the press following the implosion of the Russian collusion news cycle, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. Media executives are not just unashamed of how their employees have covered this story for the last two years, they are proud of them. CNN President Jeff Zucker, for example, has defended his network’s disastrously flawed coverage of the allegations that President Trump conspired with the Russian government to steal the 2016 presidential election, by claiming his reporters are not investigators. This is not a paraphrase.

One chapter may be ending but never fear the sequels are here After 675 days of investigation, 2,800 subpoenas, 500 warrants, and 500 witness interviews here are a few things that never happened in the time-consuming, money-wasting, slanderous attempt to erase the results of the 2016 election known as the Mueller investigation:

John Brennan was nominated to be Director of the CIA by Barack Obama and served as Director from March 2013 to January 2017. Here is a list of former Directors of the CIA. Only a few have been actively political following their tenures, but none has been as rabidly vocal and anti-Trump as John Brennan. John Brennan has been prognosticating no end over the last two years and has made some pretty serious accusations. On more than one occasion Brennan called Trump "treasonous." Former CIA director John Brennan blasted President Donald Trump's press conference with Russian President Vladimir Putin Monday as 'nothing short...

President Donald Trump’s campaign team is distributing a memo requesting members of the media to stay away from pundits who promote claims that the president colluded with Russia to win the 2016 presidential election. “Moving forward, we ask that you employ basic journalistic standards when booking such guests to appear anywhere in your universe of productions,” the memo to TV producers notes. The memo, which was reported by Axios’ Jonathan Swan, cites former CIA Director John Brennan and Democratic California Rep. Adam Schiff as two such people who should be handled with care. “At a minimum, if these guests do...

The Trump administration has sent a memo to TV producers which contains a list of Russian collusion liars, advising networks to challenge individuals like Rep. Adam Schiff on their “false claims” in future. The memo, sent by Trump’s Director of Communications Tim Murtaugh, was sent a day after the Mueller investigation’s conclusion which completely vindicated President Trump. It lists Sen. Richard Blumenthal, Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Jerrold Nadler, Rep. Eric Swalwell, DNC Chairman Tom Perez and former CIA director John Brennan. The memo accuses the above of “lying to the American people by vigorously and repeatedly claiming there was evidence of collusion.”“They made...

The man who used to run the CIA, and lost his job when Donald Trump took office, did a huge amount of damage to the United States by calling the sitting president a traitor. Because of his presumed access to information unavailable to the public, many foreign leaders had reason to believe that they could resist the demands and requests of President Trump by simply outlasting him in office. Think Kim Jong un, Xi Jin ping, Angela Merkel, and of course Vladimir Putin for starters. Victor Davis Hanson has pointed out that almost fifty years of American diplomacy has...

White House spokesman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday that media figures and Democrats who accused President Trump of working with Russia were guilty of treason — and could face the death penalty. “They are literally, the media and Democrats have called the president an agent of a foreign government. That is an accusation equal to treason, which is punishable by death in this country,” she said on NBC’s “Today” show.

America got conned again. It was all a big set-up. A ruse. A dirty canard. The whole thing was one giant lie. And everybody peddling it — from House Democratic leaders, to Senate Democrats running for president, to the Senate Republican who reported the whole thing in the first place, to the roaring lions of the Great White Media — knew it was a lie. Sure, there are some — take sleazy lawyer Michael Avenatti, for instance — who are so monumentally stupid that he probably did not know that it was all a big con. It is not uncommon...

Townhall's Katie Pavlich dug this up from newly-released emails from ultra-chatty FBI'ers Page and McCabe. On Oct. 14, 2016, Page wrote to McCabe, WRT a WH meeting. “Page to McCabe. "Apparently DAG [Sally Yates] now wants to be there, and WH wants DOJ to host.... We will very much need to get Cohen’s view (then-Deputy CIA Director David Cohen). Better, have him weigh in before the meeting. We need to speak with one voice, if that is in fact the case.” McCabe responded within the hour: "Thanks. I will reach out to David." On Oct. 19, Page wrote to McCabe...

CTH is going to break down the AG Barr Principal Conclusion notification letter against more than three years of background research. Yes, more than “three years“, is the correct time-frame here. The origin of the DOJ/FBI operation against Donald Trump goes back to 2015; the Mueller probe was a 2017 concluding chapter in the seditious conspiracy effort. I’m going to cite as much background as possible; however, this review encompasses so much granular history that some parts might be too complex for a person who only recently jumped into the story. Disclaimer: this outline does not fit the narrative from...

President Donald Trump told reporters that it was time to investigate leftist Democrats for pushing the ongoing hoax that his campaign colluded with Russia to win the 2016 election. “There are a lot of people out there that have done some very very evil things, very bad things. I would say treasonous things against our country,” Trump said. “And hopefully, people that have done such harm to our country, we’ve gone through a period of really bad things happening. Those people will certainly be looked at. I have been looking at them for a long time.”

First, a couple of things to keep in mind about the Mueller Report. It wasn't just Mueller- it was a team, and not just any team. It was a team of mostly hardened democrats who were rabidly anti-Trump. This is the original team. Of them, None of the 16 lawyers known to work for special counsel Robert Mueller are registered RepublicansThere are 13 registered Democrats on the investigation and three lawyers with no party affiliationCampaign finance records reveal that 11 lawyers are Democratic donors Their donations? The former President now owes the country an explanation for the historic abuse of government surveillance powers. The Mueller report confirms that the Obama administration, without evidence, turned the surveillance powers of the federal government against the presidential campaign of the party out of power. This historic abuse of executive authority was either approved by President Barack Obama or it was not. It’s time for Mr. Obama, who oddly receives few mentions in stories about his government’s spying on associates of the 2016 Trump campaign, to say what he knew and did not know about the targeting of his party’s...

President Trump and his legal team declared total victory Sunday following the release of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s key findings -- including no evidence of collusion with Russia during the 2016 campaign -- but sought to turn the tables by renewing calls to investigate the investigators. Trump himself slammed the probe as an “illegal takedown,” as he called Mueller’s report a “complete exoneration” and said it was a “shame” his presidency had to deal with the investigation for two years. “Hopefully somebody is going to look at the other side,” Trump said. “This was an illegal takedown that failed and...
