    Marriage is becoming increasingly uncommon in Scandinavian countries such as Norway, Sweden and Denmark, say observers. Unlike America, marriage is widely seen as an inconvenience across Scandinavia, providing very few benefits -- social or economic -- and imposing too large a commitment on families.
