Common Core Education has sparked political controversy since the U.S. Department of Education decided to adopt its curriculum nationwide in both public and private schools. The Common Core website lists “exemplar texts” by grade which they recommend for reading and one in particular has some parents taking action. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) on Sunday urged the Justice Department to review federal charges against George Zimmerman who was acquitted in Sanford, Fla., of murder and manslaughter in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin. “I think the Justice Department is going to take a look at this. This isn’t over with and I think that’s good. That’s our system, it’s gotten better, not worse,” Reid said on NBC’s “Meet the Press”.

I think that George Zimmerman sought out, stalked, followed, hunted, and murdered Treyvon Martin, and he should get life in jail for what he did. That being said, the mainstream media is being hugely biased by showing this outdated picture of Treyvon Martin: That picture is from a long time ago. The mainstream media is afraid to show us that the current Treyvon Martin has tattoos and gold teeeth, that his chosen screen name is "NO_LIMIT_NIGGA," and that his friends praised him for hurting Zimmerman:

The Daily Caller has obtained a compilation of the late Trayvon Martin’s tweets. The social media scan, executed on PeopleBrowsr and supplied to TheDC by the individual who performed the search, contains tweets from the last month of Martin’s life, dating to the beginning of 2012. Martin tweeted under the handle “NO_LIMIT_NIGGA,” an account that was closed shortly after his death. The image attached to the Twitter account when Martin died matches one that has been widely distributed.
