On Monday evening in Houston, a dozen armed men broke into the home of Dennis Tuttle and Rhogena Nicholas, a middle-aged couple who had lived in the house at 7815 Harding Street for at least two decades. The first man through the door, who was armed with a shotgun, used it to kill one of the couple's dogs. Tuttle responded to the home invasion by grabbing a revolver and shooting the man with the shotgun, who collapsed on a sofa in the living room. As Nicholas tried to disarm the intruder, his accomplices shot her. Tuttle returned fire, and by...

A Texas bank employee accused of being an accomplice to a violent armed robbery appeared in court Wednesday to face charges. Shelby Wyse, 25, was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery on Tuesday for her alleged part in a brazen daytime attack on a woman carrying $75,000 in Houston. The mother-of-one appeared before a judge Wednesday, wearing a Whitney Houston tank top with her hair scraped up in a top knot. Court documents state that security footage captures Wyse watching the woman while she conducted her business at the bank. She then allegedly sent a text message to her boyfriend...

Woman Harassed by Death Threats After Zimmerman Verdict 8:20AM Monday July 22, 2013 WINTER PARK, Fla.) -- Lori Tankel's life has been a living hell since a jury acquitted George Zimmerman of second-degree murder and manslaughter in the death of Trayvon Martin. Although she wasn't remotely connected to the case, Tankel, of Winter Park, Fla., has received numerous death threats since the verdict. It seems her phone number is one digit away from the number Zimmerman used to make his call to police just before he fatally shot Martin on Feb. 26, 2012. That call and the phone number were...

To avoid trouble stay away from these Al Sharpton Unrest areas. By Fred Brownbill on July 19, 2013 in Constitution Legal Watch, News This is the latest list of locations for the Trayvon Martin protests against white gun owners, American courts, jury verdicts, and the Rule of Law. All Americans please avoid these areas on Saturday July 20 as the likelihood of violence and property destruction are very high based on events like these seen in several states!..

Roderick Scott went out of his house to confront a trio of punks breaking into cars in his Greece, New York neighborhood. Scott's story was that he fired 2 rounds at one of them when the young man charged him after being told to freeze and wait for the cops. So, we largely have an inverse image of the incident in which Travon Martin perished, complete with the kinfolk weeping thusly....

HOUSTON - Hundreds of people marched in protest to the George Zimmerman verdict on Monday. "No justice, no peace," they yelled as they walked from the Byrd Funeral Home in the 2500 block of Wheeler to the Southmore Street overpass bridge near Highway 288. Just after 7p.m. Monday, the demonstrators spilled out onto the road and blocked traffic for about 15 minutes. "I looked up and I see all the protesters, they're everywhere," said Georgia, who asked that her last name not be used. "So, we got into the traffic and they're stopping us and not letting us go." Georgia...

George Zimmerman Is Getting A New Judge After He Alleges Flagrant Bias Abby Rogers Aug. 29, 2012, 5:24 PM They said it was a "close call," but three judges for Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeals ruled George Zimmerman deserves a new judge. Zimmerman's lawyer requested a new judge last month, saying Judge Kenneth Lester is blatantly biased against his client. Lester has steadfastly refused to step down, claiming attorney Mark O'Mara's request was "legally insufficient." But now, it looks like Lester doesn't get a choice. The Fifth Circuit ruled Lester should "enter an order of disqualification which requests the...

Trayvon wore his hoodie like a crown I adopt this child Trayvon `Cause he looked just like me And he lit up in the finest schools in town Trayvon, Trayvon liked his Skittles A rainbow of fruit tastes Spent his nights shopping Past the food deserts and through the guarded gates He was born a victim and a pawn on a Winter's day When he turned around and told George he's dead And the war began Barack Obama has a son today And he shall be Trayvon And he shall be my good man And he shall be Trayvon In...

George Zimmerman's public image took a blow when a judge revoked his bond, alleging that Zimmerman willfully misled the court concerning his financial situation. The fact that he's back in jail makes him appear guilty in the public's eye, and that's what matters. Whether or not Zimmerman misled the court is immaterial. In fact, his guilt or innocence is immaterial. His trial has transcended justice; it's now about capitalizing on opportunity. Zimmerman has maintained since day one that Trayvon Martin instigated their fatal confrontation. Zimmerman's various injuries coupled with autopsy results revealing Martin's injured knuckles tend to support his story....

State Attorney Angela Corey, the prosecutor in the George Zimmerman case, recently called the Dean of Harvard Law School to complain about my criticism of some of her actions. She was transferred to the Office of Communications and proceeded to engage in a 40-minute rant, during which she threatened to sue Harvard Law School, to try to get me disciplined by the Bar Association and to file charges against me for libel and slander. She said that because I work for Harvard and am identified as a professor she had the right to sue Harvard. When the communications official explained...

Could George Zimmerman be the October surprise? Depending on the timing of legal developments in Florida, the court proceedings and possible trial of Trayvon Martin’s killer - one of the highest-profile and most racially charged cases in years - could be thrust into the middle of the 2012 presidential election. Legal experts and political consultants disagree over what that would mean for President Barack Obama and the presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney. In recent press appearances, Zimmerman’s attorney, Mark O’Mara, predicted that it would be at least six months and possibly as long as a year before his client faces...

George Zimmerman is guilty. Of something. But I’m not sure it’s second-degree murder. Unless there is some bit of evidence we don’t know about, unless there is some smoking gun out there, there is nothing in the Florida statute on second-degree murder that sounds like what happened that night. The special prosecutor got to strut for the cameras last night, but if she can’t deliver the goods, and there is an acquittal, there is going to be hell to pay – and riot police are probably going to get called out. In a case that has turned out to be...

Two sources told WFTV on Monday that gunman George Zimmerman could be arrested this week, and that a Grand Jury will not meet on Tuesday. Zimmerman has been in hiding because of threats, after he shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. He claims he shot Martin in self-defense. Jacksonville State Attorney Angela Corey has the sole authority to determine whether Zimmerman will be charged for killing Martin. Governor Rick Scott put Corey in charge of the case late last month amid concerns that State Attorney Norm Wolflinger wouldn't do a thorough and fair investigation. "You've got to make sure justice...

Here is where the media circus takes a decidedly ugly turn. Even as protests spread across the country and celebrities from Sinbad to M.C. Hammer weigh in on the killing of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, supporters of shooter George Zimmerman -- including some conservative websites -- are weighing in with attempts to turn Martin's image from innocent kid to dangerous thug. The website the Daily Caller Monday featured tweets from the dead 17-year-old's now-closed account, topped with a huge photo of the teen showing off his gold teeth (a spokeswoman for the website says they got the photo from his Twitter...
