I’m reposting this. I’ve watched the movie probably six times now. Better each time, You pick something up new with each viewing. There’s supposedly a directors cut version out. Has anybody seen it? Anybody else out there as nuts about this flick as me? Second time thru I noticed that there are long scenes with no cuts, like the one one with De Caprio AKA Rick Dalton and the little girl and Bruce Lee fight scene. Third time all the vintage cars. Hundreds of them. The music. Pacino is great. Brad Pitt plays the coolest cat of alll time, Cliff...

The forum is co-sponsored by the school's department of sociology, anthropology and criminal justice — whose bizarre notion of criminal justice apparently includes welcoming a cop-killer. Better today's audience should hear from the families of...

Death penalty can be 'tolerated' Tuesday, May 11, 2004 Newark Archbishop John J. Myers said Monday that politicians who support the death penalty wouldn't face the same level of condemnation from the Catholic Church as those who support abortion rights."There are instances, such as a time of war or civil unrest, or when the government cannot protect the citizens in any other way, that the death penalty could be tolerated," Myers told Fox News. "So it is a moral issue of a different order."In drawing the distinction, Myers said abortion is "always wrong."The interview at Fox News studios in New...

Trantino beginning transition to normal life Sunday, January 28, 2001 By RANDY DIAMOND Trenton Bureau There are no bars on the windows of the four-story house in a residential section near Newark's downtown. The front door isn't locked. But the wiring on the windows, which is connected to an alarm system, is a reminder to the 90 men who live in this building and several adjoining brownstones that they are not yet entirely free. They are state prisoners living in a halfway house. And before they can shed the role of inmate, they must complete an intense, rule-oriented, therapeutic six- ...
