Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson's Office has formed a "Trans and Queer Interdepartmental Team (IDT)," a city-led initiative aimed at financially supporting so-called "transgender refugees" who have reportedly flooded into the city to flee Republican-run states amid legislation cracking down on sex change procedures, particularly for minors.
