Pedestrian killed on University Avenue ARKANSAS DEMOCRAT-GAZETTE A woman was killed Thursday night when a pickup hit her while she was trying to cross University Avenue near the University of Arkansas at Little Rock campus, Little Rock police said. Witnesses said the woman was walking west on 32nd Street about 8:30 p.m. when the southbound pickup struck her.
