Businessman Randy Altschuler is mounting a challenge to New York Rep. Timothy H. Bishop, heightening the possibility the four-term congressman will face his first tough re-election battle. Altschuler, a successful entrepreneur and prolific Republican donor, launched his campaign Tuesday, declaring that he is "committed to bringing my business experience - combined with a realistic, common-sense approach to problem solving - to help lower taxes, reform government and create jobs."
