French companies including LÂ’Oreal, LVMH and Kering have pledged millions of euros to help rebuild Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris after it was severely damaged in a fire Monday night. LVMH added that it would give France access to its creative, architectural and financial experts to assist in the reconstruction. Apple CEO Tim Cook added an Apple emoji to his Twitter name Thursday, one day after President Donald Trump called him “Tim Apple” at a meeting at the White House. The gaffe came during a meeting Wednesday with the American Workforce Policy Advisory Board, according to The Hill. “You’ve really put a big investment in our country,” Trump said Wednesday. “We really appreciate it very much, Tim Apple.”

"I quickly referred to Tim + Apple as Tim/Apple as an easy way to save time & words," Trump wrote in a tweet Monday defending the phrase.
