Sara Wilcox, public relations and marketing executive for Guinness World Records North America, said Hercules the Myrtle Beach liger, a hybrid of a lion and a tiger, appears in the 2014 "Guinness Book of World Records" as the world's largest feline, weighing in at 922 pounds and measuring 131 inches long and 49 inches tall at his shoulder, The Sun News (Myrtle Beach) reported Friday. A liger cub enjoys an unlikely encounter with three dolphins in these amazing photos taken at a safari park. The six-week-old cat – the offspring of a male lion and a female tiger – and the trio of aquatic mammals were equally fascinated by each other. Nose to the glass at one point, the liger came face-to-face with the dolphins at Shenzhen Safari Park in Southern China, bordering Hong Kong.
