I am just amazed how quickly the world changed. Up to this point, the biggest threat many of us have faced was gun violence. And despite the tens of thousands of innocent adults and children killed each year by guns in this country, no number of deaths has been enough to move government to take the drastic measures now being taken to stop a deadly virus.

Should white people sing black spirituals? Western Michigan University is grappling with that question after a black student was triggered and suffered a social media meltdown when a predominantly white choir sang "Wade in the Water." They sure as hell DO," WMU music major Shaylee Faught wrote on a social media post now seen by more than 1 million people. Faught got triggered after the choir's black conductor reportedly told the audience that...

Michael White didn’t deny killing Sean Schellenger. He admitted to police and at his trial that he plunged a knife several times into Schellenger’s back during a July 2018 scuffle in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Square. Numerous witnesses and a cellphone video confirmed what happened. Yet in October 2019 a jury acquitted Mr. White, a 22-year-old college student, of voluntary manslaughter. Many, including the victim’s family, blame Larry Krasner, Philadelphia’s soft-on-crime district attorney. Mr. Krasner is one of a new crop of “progressive prosecutors” who have won election in liberal cities. They include San Francisco’s Chesa Boudin, who was raised by Weather...

St. Paul, Minnesota is 66 percent white. It’s 13 percent black. And yet violent crime, just as is documented in every American citizen, has a well-known racial bias. The descendants of Scandinavians aren’t killing one another drug deals or social media beefs; those primarily descended from Africans have a strange proclivity to engaging in the opposite behavior of Scandinavians, though. Remember, despite being only 13 percent of St. Paul’s population, blacks are doing everything they can to betray the city’s slogan of America’s “most livable city.”[As 2019 closes, St. Paul’s homicide rate doubles last year’s: Police understand why, but solutions...
