Well, looks like another Deep State darling is biting the dust. This time, it’s Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger—and let’s just say, the timing is more than a little suspicious. ... Chief J. Thomas Manger will retire from the U.S. Capitol Police on May 2, his office announced Tuesday. […] Manger’s four years on the Hill weren’t without incident. In January, a man managed to slip a handgun past security while on a Capitol tour. The incident provoked bipartisan condemnation from House Administration Chair Bryan Steil, R-Wis., and ranking member Joseph D. Morelle, D-N.Y. “The USCP has requested a nearly...

According to his sources on Capitol Hill, the Capitol Hill Police Chief Thomas Manger is falling asleep in meetings with officers discussing security for the 2025 inauguration ceremony. This is a serious accusation and needs to be investigated.

EMERGENCY‼️…….. EMERGENCY ‼️ Today, I have received multiple messages about upcoming security preparedness issues for Capitol Police led events in January. As we all know one of those events is the 2025 Presidential Inauguration. I’m told USCP Chief J Thomas Manger and USCP Assistant Chief Sean Gallagher are holding eleven (11) briefings with Department employees. I’m being told that Gallagher is leading these briefings and I’m hearing first hand that officers in attendance are being packed in rooms like sardines in a can and can barely hear Gallagher speaking. Additionally, they are holding these briefings at the beginning and end...

Capitol Hill Police Chief J. Thomas Manger has rebuffed a request from the House Subcommittee on Oversight for documents pertaining to the investigation of a key witness in the 2022 Oath Keepers trial. Manger replied last month to a letter from U.S. Representative Barry Loudermilk (R-Ga.), chairman of the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Oversight, asking for two disciplinary reports on Special Agent David Lazarus. A Blaze Media investigation in October revealed that Lazarus appeared to lie to the FBI and again on the witness stand about his whereabouts during a confrontation between members of the Oath Keepers and Capitol...

Just-released U.S. Capitol closed-circuit TV video clips from Jan. 6, 2021, show Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus gave false testimony in the Oath Keepers trial, Blaze Media investigative journalist Steve Baker reported. What's the background? Baker penned an analysis in October calling into question Lazarus' testimony — which helped convict the Oath Keepers — noting that time-stamped CCTV videos Blaze News observed show Lazarus in other parts of the Capitol complex at the time he said he witnessed now-former Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn interacting with Oath Keepers on Jan. 6. Baker and others could view the Jan. 6...

In March Tucker Carlson aired several minutes of footage out of the 40,000 hours of total video taken by government cameras on January 6, 2021, in Washington DC. Tucker’s producers were given access to the footage by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Tucker showed peaceful protesters walking through the halls of the US Capitol, police waving Trump supporters into the building, and police escorting the “Q-Shamen” Jacob Chansley through the halls that day. Chansley was later sentenced to four years in prison for walking inside the US Capitol with police escort On Monday, Tucker Carlson was let go by FOX News....

Chief Thomas Manger sent an internal memo to U.S. Capitol Police on Tuesday saying the commentary on Fox News host Tucker Carlson's program Monday night was "filled with offensive and misleading conclusions about the January 6 attack." The memo, obtained by ABC News, said "the opinion program never reached out to the Department to provide accurate context." "The program conveniently cherry-picked from the calmer moments of our 41,000 hours of video," Manger wrote. "The commentary fails to provide context about the chaos and violence that happened before or during the less tense moments." Manger, who was sworn in in July...

U.S. Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger said Tuesday that an officer conducted a security check of a Capitol Hill office that was left open, rejecting a GOP congressman’s claim that police were involved in an illegal probe last November. In a Twitter thread Tuesday, Rep. Troy E. Nehls (R-Tex.) claimed without evidence that “The @CapitolPolice Intelligence Division investigated my office illegally and one of my staffers caught them in the act.” Nehls accused Capitol Police leadership after one of the officers entered his office in the Longworth House Office Building with no prior notice Nov. 20, 2021, ahead of the...

To say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. As someone who has viewed Senator Ted Cruz as one of the “good guys” on Capitol Hill, hearing him say the January 6 mostly peaceful protest was a “violent terrorist attack on the Capitol” feels like the worst type of betrayal. I know why he said it and I’ll explain below, but here’s the report of what he said according to American Greatness: Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) shocked many conservatives on Wednesday when he echoed the left’s overwrought January 6 messaging during a Senate Rules Committee hearing, referring to the riot as...
