The U.S. Capitol Police issued a statement calling conditions at the Capitol building “normal” Thursday morning in apparent response to a series of tweets and an article from the satirical web site The Onion. “It has come to our attention that recents twitter feeds are reporting false information concerning current conditions at the U.S. Capitol.
