MANHATTAN, NY — This week, 60 Minutes host Scott Pelley held a sit-down interview on the universe's ecological sustainability with a figure who has been both dismissed as a doomsdayer and celebrated as humanity's best hope for longevity on earth: Thanos. "Little one, it's simple calculus. The universe is finite, its resources finite. If life is left unchecked, life will cease to exist. It needs correcting." Thanos spoke to CBS's Scott Pelley in an interview that many onlookers called "ominous" and "awkward." When Pelley pressed the hulking purple figure on "who would do the correcting," Thanos demurred, opting to rub...

This week, John Fetterman, the Democratic for the Senate from Pennsylvania, appeared in what NBC News billed as his first on-camera, one-on-one interview since he had a stroke in May. The interview went well and was conducted with Mr. Fetterman and the reporter, Dasha Burns, sitting in the same room, as Mr. Fetterman used a captioning system on a computer screen to assist him with his auditory-processing, something he has needed help with since the stroke. Ms. Burns introduced the interview to the news anchor Lester Holt by saying, “In small talk before the interview without captioning, it wasn’t clear...

TITAN—Some surprising information has come out about Thanos’s scheme to obtain the six Infinity Stones and kill half of all life in the universe: The FBI initiated the plot. “We had suspected Thanos might one day be a threat, but we didn’t have anything on him,” explained FBI spokesman Matt Holloway. “That’s why we decided to entrap him with a plot to murder half the universe.” Documents show that it was an undercover agent who first told Thanos about the Infinity Stones. At first Thanos was hesitant on the idea, as he thought killing half of all life to be...

WASHINGTON, D.C.—After a lengthy campaign to wipe out half of all life in the universe, controversial environmental activist Thanos has called for humanity to come together, end their divisions, and unify. The environmentalist activist gave a victory speech after accomplishing his plan to acquire the Infinity Stones, place them in a specially designed glove, and snap his fingers to end billions of lives. "Now that I have destroyed half of all life in existence, it is time for unity," Thanos said in a speech Tuesday. "I know I treated you all as enemies and called for your total destruction, making...

It apparently doesn't take much to trigger CNN as far as President Donald Trump is concerned. In their latest iteration of perpetual outrage, CNN is irked over a funny meme which portrays Trump as the Marvel cartoon character of Thanos who with a snap of his finger, turns the House impeachment crew to dust. That meme was tweeted by the Trump War Room on Tuesday. What added the humor of the tweet was the reaction from CNN starting with Don Lemon going full Margaret Dumont over it that evening.
