Nearly two dozen people are feared dead after a massive explosion erupted at a Tennessee bomb factory this morning. The blast went off at the Accurate Energetic Systems plant Friday around 7.50am local time, the Hickman County Sheriff's Office confirmed. At least 19 employees currently remain unaccounted for, according to Odell Poyner, the emergency management director in nearby Humphreys County. The initial blast was so enormous that locals reported hearing and feeling it from miles away. The extent of the damage remains unclear at this time, but authorities say their main concern right now is the potential for secondary explosions....

OMAHA, Neb. — An explosion inside a shipping container at the world’s largest railyard prompted evacuations in western Nebraska Thursday because of the toxic smoke generated when one of the chemicals aboard caught fire. Around noon, an explosion occurred inside an intermodal container on a railcar at Union Pacific’s Bailey Yard in North Platte, though it wasn’t clear what caused the explosion, railroad spokeswoman Robynn Tysver said. No one was injured, and no cars derailed. Authorities evacuated everyone within a four-mile radius of the railyard, which is about 280 mileswest of Omaha, was evacuated because of the smoke, and U.S....

A French-Canadian university student was identified Monday as the alleged shooter who killed six people and wounded 19 others as they prayed in a Quebec City mosque — an assault the Canadian prime minister called a “terrorist attack.” The suspect, Alexandre Bissonnette, 27, was an anthropology and political science student at the University of Laval, the oldest French-language university in North America, a source told Reuters. Bissonnette — who was not previously known to police — lived with his parents in a single-family home on Tracel Street in the Cap-Rouge district, where police conducted a search Monday. Bissonnette’s father is...

Why do all these shootings seem to come in waves? Sometimes multiple shootings or gun related crimes happen in one day? For instance an office shooting in Phoenix AND.. this other crazed guy who took a child hostage down in a "bunker" This happened a week or so ago where we had two or three shootings in different cities on in one day?? What's going on???
  • Russian spy: New book reveals how Putin has riddled the West with suburban secret agents

The Russian regime is tyrannical, criminal, murderous, and every bit as paranoid and predatory as its predecessor, the Soviet Union. It thinks the West duplicitous, arrogant and greedy and it wants our secrets, whether military, business or political. To get them it uses an underground army of spies based here, whose most potent weapon is their ordinariness. They are the kind of people you might meet at the school gates, work alongside in an office or see mowing the lawn next door, stealthily penetrating our society. That Russia runs such agents in the U.S., Britain and Europe (and elsewhere) should...
