It did not say where exactly the bunker is but said it is "under a mountain on the outskirts of Seoul." Based on that description, it appears to be TANGO, which is the joint South Korea-U.S. command facility. The network's foreign correspondent Richard Engel was taken on a guided tour of the bunker, which he...

BRUSSELS — As a dragnet aimed at Islamic State operatives spiraled across Brussels and into at least five European countries on Friday, the authorities were also focusing on a narrower but increasingly alarming threat: the vulnerability of Belgium’s nuclear installations. The investigation into this week’s deadly attacks in Brussels has prompted worries that the Islamic State is seeking to attack, infiltrate or sabotage nuclear installations or obtain nuclear or radioactive material. This is especially worrying in a country with a history of security lapses at its nuclear facilities, a weak intelligence apparatus and a deeply rooted terrorist network. On Friday,...

What the hell is wrong with Barack Obama? Why does he not seem to have a clue how to behave when major atrocities happen around the world? The ISIS terror attacks on Brussels were Belgium’s 9/11. Belgium is a long-time loyal U.S. ally and fellow member of NATO. * These optics are appalling. Brussels is having its 9/11, and Obama is still in South America . Wednesday night he tangoed. It even appeared he had taken lessons Particularly as up to a dozen Americans were wounded in Brussels, and for all he knew, possibly dead. One U.S. couple is still...

President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama were coaxed from their table at a state dinner in Argentina on Wednesday night to dance the tango. And critics already furious that the president had attended a baseball game in Cuba following Tuesday’s deadly attacks in Brussels were unmoved. “That was a tremendous mistake,” Richard Haass, president of the Council on Foreign Relations, said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Thursday. “It’s fine to go to Argentina, you want to do the work, but you’ve got to be careful of these little photo ops and optics. Baseball games and tangos, that’s inconsistent with...

On Wednesday evening, President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama danced the tango at a state dinner in Argentina. By the next morning, a bipartisan chorus of disapproval of the optics was bursting out on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” Obama should not have canceled his trip to Argentina after the attacks in Brussels, said Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations, but his recent photo op at a baseball game in Cuba and his tango left much to be desired. “Argentina is actually one of the very rare good news stories in the world,” Haass said, referring...

Rampaging Islamic terrorism is getting worse during Easter 2016. Don’t be like Obama, by getting down on your knees to a Marxist ideology so subtly sympathetic to terrorism Wake-up call to those who lament President Barack Obama’s conspicuous absence from home in the aftermath of the horrific Brussels terrorist attack: Obama’s already very much at home where he is ‘wave’-ing and tango-ing his way through Communists countries, shoring up worldwide Marxist leadership while he’s still able to do so from a running-out presidency. Obama’s putting on quite a show doing ‘The Wave’ with the decrepit but still deadly Communist Cuba...

Google is pushing into a new world of smartphone hardware, with a new prototype phone that can create a 3D-map of a room. The prototype phone , a 5-inch device codenamed Project Tango, was revealed on Thursday. Its sensors can read a room by tracking the motion of the device itself and simultaneously mapping the environment around it with “a quarter million 3D measurements every second.” The company has added indoor maps to its mapping products before, but this project comes from the firm’s Advanced Technology and Projects group and takes that concept to an all-new level.

As Argentina deals with its latest economic crisis, [Candace Piette admires the tango industry's ability to survive through good times and bad.] Tango is about national identity and every note of its music, every gesture of the dance, contains within it their history All correspondents who come to Buenos Aires have to do a story about tango and this was going to be mine. The reason for doing this one was the huge drop in income the tango business was experiencing, because of the global economic downturn. Fewer tourists were coming to the city, and many of the tango shows...

"Where the man leads the lady must follow," wails one of the women in the cult classic "Strictly Ballroom." And indeed it might appear that the social dance milieu - where the gender roles of a male leader and a female follower are seemingly built into the structure of the dance - is at odds with modern life in which gender roles are less confined. But in the world of Argentine tango, a growing community of dancers is looking to break the strictures of traditional gender roles. Queer tango - which has become popular with festivals in Hamburg, Berlin, Stockholm...

Even though it's Ferrari red, zooms from zero to 60 in four seconds, and has a sensuous black leather dash with the same Motech data display found in Grand Prix race cars, this is not your typical little red sports car. At stoplights, adjacent drivers often ask Rick Woodbury for a card and where they can buy his car. For starters, it's smaller. Or rather, smallest. At 39 inches wide and 8 feet 5 inches long, it's skinnier than some motorcycles and shorter than many a living-room couch. It runs on batteries, not gas. And, if the thing ever makes...

RUSSELL HALLEY takes pride in being able to do the splits as well as any woman on the dance floor. His partner, Jorge Guzman, can spin faster than the female competition. So when the two men don their matching see-through chiffon shirts to dance together, they alternate the lead. “I can send Jorge into a triple spin and catch him, and vice versa — even in the course of one move,” Mr Halley boasts. “We can change place instantly. From an audience point of view it can be very exciting.” The duo are at the forefront of an upheaval in...
