A sport-utility vehicle jumped a curb outside a middle school Wednesday afternoon and plowed into a group of children waiting for a bus, seriously injuring at least two of them, police and hospital officials said. The incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. as Ralston Middle School was letting out for the day. NEWARK, N.J. -- Here's a complication the surgeon and patient didn't expect. An SUV rammed into a New Jersey doctor's operating room toward the end of a cataract procedure. No one was injured. But Dr. Bernard Spier says if the accident had happened moments earlier, it could have hurt the patient's eye.
