Massachusetts State Auditor Diana DiZoglio alleging a new report that the state’s Democrat Gov. Maura Healey relied on “unlawful” no-bid contracts — some to political allies — to fund her massive program of free housing for migrants. The new report released on Tuesday claims that Healey dispensed with the proper competitive bidding process, mismanaged contracts, and did not keep proper records, the Boston Globe reported. The auditor alleges that the lack of transparency and “lack of administrative oversight” led to massive waste in funding the migrant shelters.

Friday, during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” long-time MSNBC personality Chris Matthews likened President Donald Trump to 20th-century Italian fascist dictator Benito Mussolini. Matthews said, “He’s doing all this on television. If you have noticed, he calls the TV cameras for the cabinet meetings he’s doing. He’s redirecting his cabinet officials, redirecting Musk. I’ve watched this guy use television like nobody’s ever done. When he went up the other night on Tuesday night, talked to the American people and said, ‘We’re paying Social Security checks to people who are 160 years old.’ Anybody who reads an obit page knows...

Actress Justine Bateman — the star of NBC’s beloved sitcom Family Ties — is trolling supporters of Kamala Harris who have posted meltdown videos to TikTok and other social media apps, penning mock scene analyses of their cinematic technique. “Shoot in a location that is not the interior of a car,” Bateman wrote on X. “The director has her walk into extreme close-up, reminiscent of Tarkovsky’s Ivan’s Childhood,” the actress concludes in another post. “The exhale through the nose at the end, a la Raging Bull, is a good button to the piece,” she praises yet another. Justine Bateman’s hilarious...

Vice President Kamala Harris claimed on Wednesday that President Joe Biden clarified his statement that Trump supporters are “garbage” and disagreed with demonizing “people based on who they vote for.” “The only garbage I see floating out there is his [Trump] supporters,” Biden said Tuesday. Biden’s smear overshadowed Harris’s closing argument that night in which she said she would be a president for “all Americans.” Harris, along with Walz, tried to spin Biden’s statement when asked by the media. “Listen, I think that, first of all, he clarified his comments. But let me be clear, I strongly disagree with any...

Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) blasted Silicon Valley investor and Vice President Kamala Harris supporter Vinod Khosla, as he doubled down on President Joe Biden calling Trump supporters “garbage.” Khosla is one of the many billionaires backing Harris and he is completely undeterred by Biden’s now viral remarks about half the country. “Garbage is an understatement for MAGA extremists,” he said in part: This prompted Vance, Trump’s running mate, to openly wonder if Harris will return his contributions. “One of Kamala Harris’s biggest donors is doubling down on calling half the country ‘garbage,'” Vance observed, asking, “Will Kamala and her campaign...

Dozens of die-hard Trump supporters who couldn’t wait to see their candidate Sunday night at Madison Square Garden started camping outside the venue Saturday to make sure they snag a seat. As many as 100 Trump backers were lined up in lawn chairs just after midnight Sunday outside the famous arena — and some of them came as early as 10 am Saturday to a spot along 33rd Street and Sixth Avenues. “We love Trump,” Patty Vitala told the Post, “I love Trump and it’s cold out but it’s worth the wait. We want to make sure we get in.”

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace said Monday on “Deadline” that she thinks God will forgive people who once voted for former President Donald Trump, but now he is making a fool out of his supporters. Wallace said, “I didn’t realize Mike Johnson also can’t get over that Joe Biden for the good of the party and the good of our democracy is off the ticket. Clearly, he’s in that category. But that the reason it’s important even to the Trump voter is because he is waving a red flag in front of the country in these final 16 days, saying look...

I live in Putnam County which is referred to as “upstate” New York. We are just a stone’s throw from Westchester County. When traveling around Putnam I see some Trump signs but very few Harris signs. Sort of makes sense since the county is home to retired cops and mostly middle class families. Now when my travels take me into Westchester which is a pretty affluent area I see many more Harris signs than Trump. Some are rabid supporters with multiple lawn signs and even Trump signs with a circle and bar across it. Why is that? How can you...

Failed 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton doubled down this week on calling half of former President Donald Trump’s supporters a “basket of deplorables.” Clinton reflected on the infamous and divisive comment she made during a fundraiser in 2016 in a Washington Post op-ed published on Wednesday, adapted from her new book Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty. In the article, the former secretary of state recalled a meeting she had with a former white supremacist who now works to deprogram people leaving hate groups as an entry to discuss her “deplorables” comment, and said the term...

“If you want Donald Trump to win, you’re going to have to do it yourself.” That’s the assessment of Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Joel B. Pollak, who appeared with Jennifer Horn and Grant Stinchfield on AM 870 in Los Angeles on Wednesday to offer his thoughts on the presidential debate in Philadelphia the night before. “As great as Donald Trump wins — he gets up from a bullet wound to the head, and all of that — his supporters are going to have to drag him across the finish line, because he was not prepared for the debate that happened...

Drea de Matteo, who played Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos, revealed that many people in Hollywood secretly support Donald Trump. During her interview, she said she supports Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s endorsement of Trump. “At the very moment, all I care about is fighting for this country and just trying to wake up a few more of my fellow liberals to get back to the center of things and recognize that the things they always fought for — all of that weaponization on the left — is camouflage,” de Matteo said. She then said that social issues are unimportant...

CHICAGO, Illinois — A group of Hamas supporters flew the banner of the terrorist group at a pro-Palestinian rally outside the Democratic National Convention — but they flew it upside-down, and not on purpose. Roughly 3,500 people gathered in Union Park to protest against Israel — and to urge Vice President Kamala Harris to end U.S. support for Israel. Many present said they would not vote for Harris unless she complied with their demand. There were a broad spectrum of views represented — from peace activists to hard-core Islamists — though the crowd chanted for the Palestinian “resistance,” and repeated...

The leftist Occupy Democrats group shared reminders on Tuesday for people worried about Vice President Kamala Harris running against former President Donald Trump and losing. “Important reminders!” the group’s Facebook post read. “Also for all those who still have PTSD about Hillary losing in 2016 and worry for same fate for Kamala, we are in such different times,” the post read: 1. Hillary won the national popular vote. 2. The threat of Trump, the Supreme Court, and the Republican Party is much more apparent. 3. Democratic Party is way more unified today than it was in 2016. 4. “So I’ve talked on this show many times, and I thought that Trump was viewed by his supporters as a theological figure, not a secular figure. And of course, him being within an inch of having his head blown off is, to them, further proof that they were right, that God is protecting him,”

Saturday, shortly after former President Donald Trump evaded an apparent assassination attempt, NBC News national security correspondent Frank Figliuzzi expressed concerns that Trump supporters may seek revenge for the attempt to take the former president’s life. Figliuzzi, who regularly labels the right as a threat to public safety, said it could come in the form of Trump supporters taking on anti-Trump protesters at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee next week.
