I am told in order to gather and to rally you are required to have a permit, I am a native Michigander actully wanting to start a rally for Troop support in Washington DC. I am rather embarrased at not knowing this, but how do I get a permit? Thank you for your help.

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A local group of mothers who have sons stationed in Kuwait have organized a support group for other families who have servicemembers overseas.
