STUART SUPPORT THE TROOPS RALLY TODAY Friday 4-6 at South end of Roosevelt Bridge
UPDATE 03 21 03 In a stunning example of media bias against reporting on a Support Our Troops Rally, the Stuart News (local section) gave front-page coverage with big color picture to a couple of dozen "anti war" demonstrators who paraded through downtown Stuart. Despite the fact that "newsreporter" Christine Selvaggi had picked up and read a flyer I had left for the News newsroom which read- "Support Our Troops Rally...to show our troops and allies that we appreciate and support their willingness to go into harms way for our security and freedom..." - despite the fact that she interviewed me in person Thursday at the site where the "war" protestors had gathered for their march, at which time I pointedly explained to her that the purpose of the Friday rally was to provide the troops articles and pictures which show that grassroots America appreciate and support them- the only mention in her story about our Friday Rally was to write "The Treasure Coast Peace Coalition is planning to rally again at the bridge this afternoon and will most likely be met by protestors in favor of military action, who also use the bridge as their platform." By implying that our Rally is for people who favor war, Ms. Selvaggi presented a calculated distortion of what "Support Our Troops" means. Let's hope that they'll be some unbiased, honest reporters from the media who will not stay embedded with the "peaceniks" and who will tell the truthful story about our Friday rally- which will happen every Friday for the duration. email editor of the StuartNews: editorial@stuartnews.com and trust me... don't even bother trying to get Ms. Selvaggi to acknowledge her deceit...end update.

Network TV coverage last night and this morning was bad too. Covered a handful of protestors, the democratic position, the French position, etc, more than the war.
I ended up watching BBC because it was better coverage of the war.

Where is Stuart? Stuart is the place where Christina Selvaggi controls the media with a Stalin-like iron fist. Sources in the Heartland have called Stuart News "the Volkisches Beobachter of Middle America."

This morning one of the national lib channels, I think it was ABC depicted Live Oak, FL as the most patriotic town in America with like 40% of eligibles deployed as I recall mostly National Guard. The townsfolk turned out, they looked great and the whole thing was well done.
Live Oak is North Florida, more like South Georgia, a nice town spared, hopefully forever, from the blight of much of Florida.

Fear not gang, the rat media is losing it's ability to say what is/isn't news. Yes examples like this will still be around for a long time to come but; we are winning. We are winning little by little. Not by the day but certainly by the 1/4 year. Does anyone think we would have heard what murray and moron really thought even two years ago? Two years ago, the rat media would have been able to smother both stories. A reporter who heard the remarks would have winked and whispered "Don't worry I'll never print that - you're safe with me." NO MORE!! The rug has no more room under it!!!! The 3 legged stool of the net, talk radio and FOXtv just won't allow it. :-)!!

You are stunned by media bias? You need to get out a little more.
