[Catholic Caucus] Leo XIV: “Altar servers, be attentive to God’s call.” So Why Female Service?A few weeks ago on August 25th, in the Clementine Hall, Pope Leo XIV welcomed a delegation of French altar servers, delivering a deeply rich and countercultural address, in contrast to the prevailing ecclesiastical trends. At the heart of his speech was the affirmation of Christ’s uniqueness and necessity for salvation. “Who will come to our aid? Here is video of President Obama having trouble with the word “superfluous” as he spoke to a group of Kennedy Center Honorees. Notice he also read his script/teleprompter wrong as he began that sentence. He first read the quote as, “Too many people,” but corrected it with, “To many people…..” I could not see a teleprompter in the shot, but there could have been one in the back of the room.

Would someone please explain to me the wisdom or sense in having some folks I know nothing of or about having their own special space at the TOP of my thread page going on and on and on about their own little conversation? I have yet to see an 'announcement' there. Yes I know if I delete my state status it will go away but why should I have to? How bout just reserving the 'announcement' block for announcements? Gee, that would be novel.
